These people are hopeless. They bought out our local propane company (Heritage). Now there is nobody to talk to about service. They delivered propane to our neighbors house and billed us for it. Even when we go to their office no body even acknowledges that we are there. Please, for your own sanity, stay away from AmeriGas. Choose a local company with a good reputation. There are good ones out there. You couldn't do worse than AmeriGas. read more

I've been trying to get Gas service turned on for over 3 (Three) weeks now. I've made over seven ( 7)calls to Customer Service and Support. So far, I've been disconnected once; spoken to "Customer Experience Advocates" in Idaho, Ohio, The Philippines, and god only knows where else. I've tried calling the "Sales phone number" 844-284-4878 and it just circles back to the computer answering system which routes my call to whatever country is awake and answering a phone. About two weeks ago I got an account number. But now the Customer Experience Advocate can't located my delivery address; and they think the account is still in a prior owners name. I've tried to call the main office in King of Prussia, PA, and yep you guessed it......routed back to the computer call center and sent via satellite phone to never never land.....(thus 8 phone calls). I tried to call my local AmeriGas in Boone and Spruce Pine, NC......and yep, you guessed it......circled back to the computer call center in whatever location is on call at the time. AmeriGas has deplorable Customer Service, their Customer Experience Advocates actually think they are helping, but actually they have no idea as to what's going on in this business. I tried to reach to AmeriGas V.P LaQuista Parks who heads up Customer Service for All of AmeriGas and yep.... you guessed..........the phone rang and rang and then circled back to the computer call center which again routed my call to never never land. This Company deserves to fail in business. They are clueless, have no customer service and do not know how to treat a customer or operate a viable business. I'm calling the Fire Department for a Gas line and meter inspection as well as the Insurance Company who holds the policy's on this 50 unit development.
