let me start off by saying they really do an excellent job on selling vehicles. However when you test drive the vehicles they want you to only go two blocks from the dealership and they say that that's all they are allowed to let happen. That's bull crap because you should be able to take it out on the highway and go to speed limit to see if there are any mechanical problems. For example shifting gears, knocking, whining of tires, squealing of breaks, electrical problems, rattling under the car and shimming while driving or slowing down. As a customer you should love your vehicle 150% because you're gonna be stuck paying for that vehicle no matter what happens to it. It will be six months down the line and your vehicle is going to break down. Yes they will take it straight to the shop of their amateur at best mechanics because they're cheaper, and it will take about six tries to fix one problem that should've been an easy fix in the first place. If anything else goes wrong with your vehicle they make you feel like an idiot or they make you feel like it's your fault. it doesn't matter if you make your payments on time or not, they will still treat you like this. They will ask you to jump through hoops and such if you lose your job which is only fair because that's their job to keep collecting money. And it's your job and your responsibility to make your payments. However instead of jumping through hoops for this company just give your vehicle back. Don't waste your time trying to please them because no matter what you do they are still gonna come after your car so they can turn around and resell it to make more money off of it. They don't care if you keep your car or not. That is not their problem nor is it their job. If you call the day your payment is due because the money that you were told was going to be in your account was not and that's one of the contingencies that you resigned your account on to save your car, conveniently manager is not available and you're told that he is with a client and will call you back. Well in retail that's understandable but no call was ever made. Then call back a few days later same scenario according to the receptionist that is so not professional. Hateful and very short to the point but yet wants to know all the little details that you're calling about. People don't call the manager of a car dealership for no reason just to chitchat. They call in reference to their vehicles. The receptionist has no control or Power over anything other than answering the phones and relaying messages which is primarily what they are hired for.
I understand that everyone has a job to do. And I understand that people won't go out of their way to save their own butts in their job. So at the end of the day they really don't care about what's going on. During Covid the only reason they reduced everyone's payments was because people were losing their jobs left and right. Then we came in to the child tax credit BS. Well that lasted for six months and was not being renewed in January. They told their customers who had to go in in order to save their vehicles in November that the child tax credit was indeed being extended January to June 2022. Now the people that did not research this, that kind of falls on their shoulders for not really knowing the absolute information. But when people are asking questions and one person says I don't know but then the Manager says that they are for certain, people trust what they are saying. So then you re-sign this lovely car payment thing because you do see a light at the end of the tunnel Even though the payments are higher than your first initial signing you have faith in the fact that the team you're being led by knows what they are talking about.even though the payments are higher than your first initial signing you have faith in the fact that the team you're being led by knows what they are talking about. So that was all wrong on several occasions and I have talked to several people who have had this issue with the same company and not just in Stillwater. Apparently this was a company wide thing to save their own asses.
so bottom line in the beginning yes everybody's very sweet and polite they are reeling you in to get your business to get you to sign the dotted line and sign your life away. Read those documents and request it there not be a GPS on your vehicle because that's how they found me and got my vehicle back my first day on the job. They have to have your permission to have that GPS tracker on that vehicle. That is the law. Just know the laws and your rights as a consumer. read more
