Way, way overpriced. Nothing is marked. The prices are comparable to "new" at a retail store.

Nothing is priced. Was quoted 30 dollars for a pot you can buy new for 20. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I come to Deseret once a week, or at least every two weeks. This is my meditation. On some days I…read moreleave with nothing, on some I spend my whole month thrift budget. Deseret is great go to for basics. Need some new jeans, a blazer, mens shirt, etc? I always check here first because they have a large array of things & sizes. My guy is tall, so we have a harder time. I also always check for blankets & fabric, as well as office supplies. Yep, for my home office. The outside area is an adventure, you never know what you will find. A few weeks ago I came for shorts and found a painting! I used to find great clothes, but sadly Deseret is getting so much "plastic" donations. Shein is taking over. I sew, so I would always find some great pieces to alter to my size & liking. The mens section is still good, but the womens is thin. Parking is always easy. The store is very clean, and Managers are very approachable for questions & pricing (the ladies, the men always seem stressed out and not so approachable. Just my opinion). The prices have gone up a little, but are still very good. My daughter lives in LA, and we always stop in when she is here. A Sacramento gem.

Is this a standard/uniform requirement for this business now? The service was not good the last time I went. The employees were not very friendly . The woman that checked me out wanted me to tell her how much each of my items were (and I had a good amount of things) instead of looking herself and doing it like a normal cashier. I typically like this thrift store. I like the amount of items and price and quality.

this thrift store has a quirky vibe and I didn't even mind their contemporary Christian music…read more their prices are good, lots of discount days and staff are friendly. The not so good: prices are written in hen scratch, sone are hard to read, and prices vary greatly. some items are really overpriced but with so many potential discounts it kinda works out. check out can be slow bc some customers buy a lot of stuff, especially on discount days! some clothes items look like they haven't been laundered so it appears they accept clothes in all conditions. parking lot can be tight. Overall, I like the casual, unassuming vibe and would come back.

On top of that, if you spend a certain amount (I spent $21), you can get a 50% off coupon for your next Sunday visit. They are located in a fairly busy shopping center, so the parking lot feels pretty cramped. However, you should have no problems finding a spot. Another thing to note is that during the majority of my visits, I do not have a shopping cart because they are so scarce. It is a good size store, not too small but not very big. They have the isles easily organized by item and size. The isles can get a bit tight when you are trying to get by other shoppers. Their furniture and shoe areas are my favorite because they have lots of stock in those. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful as well. It's overall a very promising thrift store. I've found some really cool pieces for great prices!

The store is always neat, organized, and doesn't have the smell that is far too common in other consignment and second hand stores. That's because you are in a boutique honey and you can tell that the owners Abe and Val put a lot of care into the items and how the store is presented. I have never consigned there but I've shopped there for years and have enjoyed the treasures I've found. There is something for every kind of style and they carry all kinds of brands including high end luxury brands. They not only have pieces in-store but you can shop online and even during their live shows hosted on their social media platforms. They have top tier customer service and everyone who's ever helped me is always pleasant, positive people that go above and beyond to help. The parking lot of the where it's located is one way in and one way out so you will need to enter in the driveway closest to the Tupelo coffee shop and exit the driveway on the other end of the lot. It's in a great area, so if you want to shop, go have food and drinks, you have lots of options even within walking distance making it a a great day out!
