It's not easy by any means but the instructors Wagner and the assisting instructors (Bryan & Natasha) are very patient with the students who may not get it first time around. They are good about working with a person with a learning disability. I have dyslexia and am a auditory learner so it's extra work for me but worth it! Had Marcus Wagner as my main instructor and he's a phenomenal teacher. Super smart about putting medical things that could be dull and hard to learn into a fun, humorous, engaging classroom experience. He is fun and truly funny. If you don't learn what he's teaching - you're not paying attention. He likes the student to engage and ask questions. And TRUST ME he answered all the questions from us crazy student. Smart smart dude. Expert Tip: learn your acronyms ASAP! They will be in tests!!! And the participation grade is easy to keep you over the top of you struggle a little with the tests. They have a app for grading and assignments that is very convenient for the students. Your grade and what you received on quizzes, tests, homework and participation are available in black and white at your fingertips. Wagner is very very good about getting the grade to the student that day so you know where you stand and where you need to improve. If you're a good student study for approx an hour a chapter - for me slower learner it's about 2/3 hours if done right. Anyways - awesome awesome awesome place for an student out to go into emergency medical services.

Thank you Elite Medical Training in Modesto!! I initially called 1 (888)713-0455 to reach out and…read moresee if these guys were really having ACLS classes in Modesto. I spoke with I believe Shantell who confirmed it and they were able to book me a class on for a Saturday class from 9:00AM-1:00PM. This worked out perfect because I work Mon-Fri 8-4:30PM. I just started a job and didn't have enough hours to do my ACLS locally in Stockton during the weekdays, so these guys took care of me. They were the only group within reasonable distance from Stockton to help me re-certify for my ACLS on a Saturday. Colleen was awesome!! She completely welcomed me right when I got there and accommodated me. She provided me with snacks, water, and coffee. There were other students there for BLS and she was able to get me in to start my ACLS class. I was able to watch all the necessary videos, prep with a mannequin to run codes, and sit for my test. I received everything I needed via email such as my new ACLS card. Thanks Colleen and Elite Medical Training. I can now get back to working per diem shifts if I want. I just want every to know that I had a great experience here. The class was in Hughson but the place was safe and lots of public workers there such as police and fire department one street over. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

She focused on material for the students taking BLS and I learned nothing from the ACLS algorithm nor meds nor review of heart rhythms....nothing. She was a nice woman but not equipped to be a teacher of ACLS. I take this certification seriously in particular and now I feel the need to retake the course elsewhere to learn the material.

Although…read moreI can't say how long it's been since that has happened and this review is going to be from a while ago. But I feel compelled to leave it because it was such an awful experience for my daughter. I contacted you guys because she was sexually assaulted and had to go through the court system. I called the Haven in advance to tell them about the court date because I knew we would need support based on the circumstances and the offenders very large unruly family. They told me that we would have someone with us through the court proceeding for support . No one from the women's Haven showed or made any attempt to help my daughter. We were told someone would be there. They said to meet them in a specific area in the courthouse. I called while I was standing there waiting and the lady said oh OK I'm on my way. I waited and waited until we had to go into court. They never showed or called. We were completely on our own in every way no support was offered or given. The ADA had a loud and humiliating conversation with my daughter in a whole corridor, full of people. (Maybe a trained liaison could have been able to maneuver this better for her?) The perpetrators family heckled us in court. I had to ask the bailiff for help. If Haven would've just told me that no one was available to go I would've worked to make another arrangement at least. I feel like with her being a minor and me being alone in this town without support, really made us the prime example of the need of what the women's Haven is supposed to be, at that time in our lives. Never any counseling or support group, or even a pamphlet offered ever at any time.
