The worst customer service. Transported my son for the small sum of almost $3000. The driver was actually going 75mph and I could barely keep up with him. I have video. No emergency. They take advantage of you while your dealing with the worst time in your life. I agreed to make payments. Made every payment on time. My credit is excellent. They send me a threatening letter from a collection agency saying I missed a payment. You can't make this up. Terrible organization. Terrible customer service. read more

I received service from AMS in March 2021 and as of September 2021 am still having issues with getting them to send billing to my insurance company. I've made numerous calls and each time get a different answer and my insurance company still have not received the billing that I was told would be sent several months ago. I haven even made calls with my insurance company on the phone to verify my eligibility after being told that my insurance coverage was canceled and they show no insurance coverage (none of it is true). I still get bills in the mail every month that my claim was denied and I need to pay the bill. I've spoken to both Supervisors and a Manager with no results. My rating on the handling of the billing department of AMS is zero stars but I can't submit without selecting at least one star. read more

Hey assholes, why not use a call center in the United States? Use all the immigrants you want but train them properly so that they are confident in the information that they need. Instead my call goes to South Asia and the lady assisting me is very vague in what information she needs. Your one of those companies that is destroying the U.S. by providing sub-standard customer service and outsourcing your call center so that you don't have to pay American wages. Go to hell. read more

I had to call 911. It took them 3 HOURS to get here with 4 intermit calls from dispatch to see if his condition worsened. Apparently they were extremely busy (at least that was what I told in the first follow up phone call. When they finally did arrive my husband was interrogated by them as to the necessity of his need for an ambulance. Apparently these unprofessional people proceeded to tell my husband that "this was an expensive Uber ride". Contacted the headquarters several times regarding their bill and have gotten no where except a nasty o gram from them stating we are turning this account into collection. When you do get some one in their customer service it someone with a very thick middle eastern accent. AVOID calling 911 unless you specify not to send AMR read more

I was in an accident and had the worst experience riding from scene to hospital via AMR. Do not use AMR if option is available. No empathy or caring for the patient, vehicles are not meant for moving patients, vehicle suspensions are so bad. They take advantage of you while your dealing with the worst time in your life. Then they get you again when it comes time to pay their bill. Their business model is to collect all money no matter what. They try to get you again. I had other ambulance companies write off amounts that did not make sense. I agreed to make payments. Made every payment on time. Agree to a date to make payments but their system will not recognize payment for a week so they keep moving the date you actually need to make payment My credit is excellent. Made monthly payments agreed upon. They send me a threatening letter from a collection agency saying I missed a payment. You can't make this up. Terrible organization. Terrible customer service. read more

This company has the worst billing and customer service. I have been dealing with them for the last 3 years and I can't get anyone who know what is going on (outsourced to a different country impossible to communicate with). I will say the ambulance service and paramedics were good. But I would strongly not recommend them until they get a better billings department. read more

Awful company! Insurance paid them and AMR still sends us unpaid notices. Documentation of Insurance payment sent to them as requested - still not resolved. They need to find and train "real" Customer Service people and "real" Accounting professionals. Going to file a claim with BBB. Also, submitted a complaint to their parent company. read more
