I found Veterans Rebuilding Life (VRL) on Google and its been an amazing experience. They are very respectful and understand the trials of a military veteran in regards to the time consuming process of applying for Veterans Affairs (VA) resources and services. I was able to get some emergency food, clean clothes, socks, hygiene products as well as opportunity to work gigs to make money through Veterans Rebuilding Life (VRL) non-profit's huge list of supporters. I feel blessed to have stumbled on this non-profit that really does what they say to change the narrative of how veterans are being treated in this country. This place is one of the nicer elks lodges I have visited…read more My Tuesday night dart league is what brought me here for the first time. Plenty of room in the parking lot. My first thought? This place is huge! There are two different entrances. The side door which bring you downstairs and the front which I believes leads to their party room up stairs. I can't comment on what it looks like upstairs because i didn't have a chance to look at it due to someone actually using the space for a party. If your not a member, you need to pick up the telephone in the downstairs entrance for the bartender to buzz you right in. I had to go in and out a few times and I must say, the bartender was very attentive when it came to letting people into the room. Downstairs has a full service round bar. Cold draft beer with chilled beer glasses, inexpensive drinks, two dart boards, and a ton of tables to sit at as well. Oh and if someone buys you a drink you get a chip that says "good for one free drink" as opposed to the upside down shot glass. Kinda cute. They also have in house lottery tickets that are a dollar each. Found that to be pretty cool as well.
