My father was a founding member of Post 1836 in the Boulevard Gardens. He wrote a history of the Post which I still have. It was a very active Post wiith most early members being WWII vets. I think there were WW1veterans as well. Always had a great Memorial Day ceremony in the Gardens followed by a celebration in the legion hall. Fond memories read more
