I wish I had an option for zero stars but I don't. My daughter purchased a new home from this dealer in September 2021. To this day, they are still not done with the original work from the setup. She is having all kinds of problems with different areas of the home both inside and outside and they will not contact her to schedule to come back out and complete what they started. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! They are unethical to the point where they will not even respond the BBB complaint she filed on 01/10 despite them boasting an A+ rating. Don't fall for it! read more

Zero star's we've had nothing but trouble with our home. Do not buy from them their product is nothing but trash. Where do I begin leaks leaks leaks first the pipes in the kitchen from dishwasher ruined my wall with leaks had a hutch against the wall wasn't noticeable until the floor got wet and pulled hutch out a whole wall of mildew and hutch was ruined. Company did not offer to replace it. Then master shower leaked in the wall we had to repair that mind you we were still under warranty. Leak under the kitchen sink had to replace the whole drain insert now the smaller bathroom has a leak under the sink. They don't care about their customers or their product. So beware if you're buying from them this is a sorry ass company Well we bought a 10 yr warranty on AC unit guess what after 2 1/2 yrs it's gone OUT the parts are paid for haha the joke is on us stylecrest wants 915.00 dollars for LABOR with no guarantee!! I honestly don't know where start with this.... We started the process in October, signed in January, & currently waiting on my home to be finished. I love my home, but I recommend American Homes to NOBODY! The whole process has been like pulling teeth with them. They were extremely helpful & nice at first, very accommodating. After our house was delivered in JANUARY our salesman, Kevin, was very adamant and texting/calling every day saying that we needed to call the company and tell them our house was delivered so the money could be released from the bank & they could finish our house. Once they were funded the money, they've pretty much ghosted us. They haven't touched our house since January, besides sending a guy out to fixing our LEAKING ROOF after we "bothered" (yes, Bobby Hill told us we we're bothering them by asking questions!) several people for 2 weeks. I've already made my first mortgage payment on a home I can't even live in because it is unfinished & nobody seems to care. Before signing, my husband was in constant contact with the owner John who since then has ignored our calls. We have nobody answering our questions & we're continually told "Brandon will call you" when asking when our home will be finished. I've never ONCE spoke to Brandon still to this day. All in all, they've made our first home buying experience a NIGHTMARE & I'm so ready to be done with them. read more

This company puts out false information and then angrily ask you to take your business elsewhere when you do your own research. They seem to act like a used car sales lot for mobile homes - I had gone to view a home and my concern was about getting larger floor joists (2x8 over 2x6). I was then told yes that can be done, I also asked if the walls could be upgraded to 2x6s, again I was told yes. A few days later I was informed that the floor joist couldn't be upgraded, I again asked about the walls and had to wait again before getting told that that also could not be done. There is only one factory that makes this home to my knowledge, so I called the corporate office to see if they could locate another factory that could produce the home and it seemed as though there is not. I then called the Sulphur Springs factory, which makes the home, and after some digging around I was put in touch a department that told me that there was no reason that the home could not be made with stronger floors and walls as long as the GM of the plant approved it. Happy about this, I called American homes back to give them this information so that maybe they could use this to meet my needs. I was met instead by Kevin Garner who proceeded to yell at me over the phone about how I went over his head. Considering that he is a 3rd party seller and I went to a company that is separate from them, there is no way I went over his head. I simply did my own research. During Kevin Garners rant I interrupted him to ask if I had done something to bring harm to him or his company. In the background I heard the saleswoman (who is a wonderful person by the way) say "no". I asked if there was a home that they had that would suit my needs and the professional woman was able to quickly get in a suggestion before Kevin Garner irrationally told me to take my business elsewhere. I wished them both a good day and ended the conversation. I do not recommend using this company. read more
