I wish I had been brave enough to explore, but when I'm traveling somewhere I don't speak the language I'm always terrified of having someone yell at me for some faux pas while I stare at them blankly. Do note that the hot chocolate is drinking chocolate, not cocoa. It's basically hot, runny pudding - I know that sounds terrible, it's not at all, it's delicious, but it's very, very rich. A great place to cozy up out of the cold for a chat, or to read.

Also, there are a lot of CDs on the wall and behind the counters. I bought two - the new Adelle and a Jaromir Nohovica concert one. He is a Czech folk singer and also sings in Polish. Unfortunately they didn't have any of his in Polish so I settled for a Czech concert one. There is also a baby grand piano in the front of the shop, as well as some tables, making that area a small café. Well, I didn't have coffee but beer. Really, it's a very comfortable, friendly place to chill for a bit (with free wifi!), have a drink, look for some music or sheet music or just get in out of the cold - and it was cold outside.

We noticed people sitting inside in a group, but the door was wide open and welcoming. A young man stopped me by getting right in from of me and asked if he could help me. I asked him if I could shop in his gallery and he rudely replied with a "NO! Can't you see there are people here for a special event?" Not a nice way to treat a potential customer. Unfortunately, we have encountered this rudeness quite a bit here in Krakow which has stopped me from making several purchases that I otherwise would have made. Are you familiar with the phrase, "don't bite the hand that feeds you?" If not, look it up.
