POINT PLEASANT BEACH: Amendment 21 is a speakeasy style restaurant and their outdoor tables are dog friendly! Located in downtown Point, their menu is one of the best we have seen with an eclectic selection, vegan options, 40 beers on tap, and a nice list of cocktails. The food and drinks were fresh and delicious! A doggie water bowl is available too. The service is great and they made sure to give Brie a lot of attention. You can sit at high top tables along the sidewalk or at a counter looking inside to watch the game. When you are done, walk around the beautiful shopping district! The beach and boardwalk are not dog friendly, but you can head to the Manasquan Inlet on the PPB side for a nice walk along the water.

What a great little bar! They have so many beers on tap, it feels like you are at a brewery that serves nice cocktails. Best of both worlds. The food is delicious. I would describe it as creative, elevated bar food. Come here hungry and thirsty and you won't be mad you did. There is bar seating and mostly 4 top tables with a few bigger ones. Lots of TVs so perfect to bring some friends and watch any sport. Also, huge shoutout to the staff - they kick butt. Everyone that works here wears many hats which is really cool. Your server may also be making your drinks and bussing your neighbors table.

I've come to Amendment several times and I have always had such an awesome experience The theme of the restaurant plays off the prohibition/speakeasy theme; really cool bar and a small restaurant but super cute The food was awesome; I got the blackened shrimp tacos and my husband got the fried chicken sandwich. His sandwich was super crispy, full of flavor and my tacos were the perfect amount of food. The shrimp was super flavorful and the guac that came along with it was so fresh and yummy. The cocktails there are always delicious with a ton of beers on tap. I tried the jalapeño blackberry margarita and it was delicious! If there was one reason I gave it a four and not a five was just the service. There were not that many people in the restaurant but once the food was dropped off, the waiter did not check up on us to see how it was or to refill our drinks until it was time for the check. Overall, I do really love coming here and can't wait to come back!

One of the few places with vegetarian options at the beach. Mostly bar food here but I found Vegan tacos, veggie pho bowls, impossible burgers, veggie quesadillas, veggie buffalo (cauliflower) "wings", eggplant fries. Much better than a bowl of lettuce with a side of potato! Came in a Monday night, big football crowd - not my thing but fun atmosphere for an off-season Monday . Crowd on younger side tonight, loud & lively. Servers all nice (& cute too!) it's just minutes from the beach, in the middle of great small town, lots of nice shops around

Great burgers and drinks and pretzels!"One of a kind craft beer and boutique spirit bar"! Honestly, we were going to the Point Lobster and Grill which was closed but their "next door neighbor " (they share a door opening, A21 to the right) came through for us on a hot summer afternoon! We came on July 5th an "unofficial holiday" and we were pleasantly surprised at the hospitality and good grub! They have a great selection of craft beers and serve top shelf liquors as well as some solid house favorites. Our bartender, Dylan, was courteous, polite, hard working and attentive in the midst of a lunch Hour rush. The Icarus was pineapple forward with a hoppy finish. We were very glad to support a small business in Point Pleasant! Adrienne the owner is super cool as well!

Awesome beer selection. Deep craft beer roster on tap and had cans of Focal Banger as well. Food was excellent, had the special loaded pretzel of the day. Can't say enough nice things about the friendly, helpful and attentive staff they are great. Also lots of TVs so a good place to watch games.

I came for the ridiculous Oktoberfest pretzel and I'm glad I did. I'm vegetarian, so I got mine without the sausages on top, but the size of it was overwhelming in any event. Better yet, it was SO DELICIOUS!! This one came with a delicious pretzel (good crust and chew) ... potato croquettes, sauerkraut, baked apples ... am I missing anything? I dunno. Was so great. My husband liked his lunch as well. I shall return.

We were lucky enough to score a table right on the water, with water views and a live band. The atmosphere was fun, lively, and everything you'd hope for in a waterfront restaurant. Midway through our meal, however, a sudden rainstorm rolled in and created a bit of chaos. Everyone rushed to grab one of the limited covered tables under the tent, making the experience feel a little frantic for a while. The staff did not help figure out where to go, what to do or anything really helpful. Food-wise, the best was Mike's Signature Bang Bang Shrimp. The rice bowls were less impressive. The vegetable component was more of a slaw than the stir-fried vegetables we expected, the dishes could have used much more sauce, and the panko-crusted mahi bowl felt heavier and more fried than anticipated. We also ordered a bucket of High Noons, but there was confusion about the happy hour deal. Neither the menu nor our server could explain the bucket pricing, and when the bill arrived, it appeared we paid the same as ordering the drinks individually. That was disappointing and took away from the experience.

I recently tried their new spring menu and everything hit. Apps: Crabby gabby sushi roll -- my fave at a B2 restaurant and I loved it here as well! Scarpiello wings -- sticky and savory perfection. Could've made a made off this alone! Entrees: Pan seared scallops with polenta -- the scallops were nice and tender and seared very nicely. Linguine & clams with red sauce -- very generous with the clams and the sauce was flavored very well. Cheesesteak -- tender, juicy, huge portion and served on amazing bread. Deliciously cut fries too. Drinks: Berry loca margarita -- not even a big marg person and I loved this. Spring fling sangria -- my friend downed hers! Dessert: Chocolate lava cake -- oozing with chocolate. Sooo delicious. Can't skip this! Service was awesome -- our waiters were so friendly and helpful. I like the cozy and rustic vibes of the restaurant, makes it a welcoming spot. Definitely will be back.

What a great dinner…read more.. We decided to drive up to Point Pleasant for our last dinner of the long weekend and point Lobster Bar & Grill was the choice. When we arrived at about 5:40pm the place was packed so it took a few minutes for us to get seated, but no biggie because we didn't make a reservation (if you're here in the beach season, it's a MUST). We got seated in the bar area, but it was right by the window so it was a fantastic seat. Only down side was there was a guy playing music right next to us, but he wasn't super loud so it was fine. Our server, Matthew, was over fairly quickly to take our drink orders. Wifey ordered a Ruby Spritz and I had the French Pear. Both were delicious. For our appetizers my wife started with baked clams and I ordered the Drunk and Angry clams (steamers with lager and cherry peppers) and like the drinks, both were excellent. I was really happy with mine as the level of spiciness was perfect. We also ordered two white sangrias with dinner. Server suggested getting a pitcher if we were going to have more to a one, but we had a bit of a drive and didn't want to chance it. Great job on his part. My wife ordered the Crab Stuffed Flounder - very rich and tasty, but two plates of stuffed food was a little too much. I ordered the Pistachio Crusted Halibut special with jasmine rice, bok choy, and a lemon sauce. WOW it was great. The halibut was ever so slightly overcooked, maybe 60 seconds, but the FLAVOR was amazing. I love bok choy so this dish was a home run. We were too full for dessert, so that was it. We really loved this place and our server, Matthew, was great - friendly and engaging. I would 100% return and try another entree here.
