I had three huge trees in the yards of a new house I purchased and got a ton of quotes. David's was the most competitive and he was incredibly responsive. Three of his guys showed up when David said they would and were hacking away at the trees for most of the day. They were super friendly, and asked my neighbors to move cars so they wouldn't get dirty. It was faster than I thought they'd get done and they went below ground to get the stump out. It was great and my husband and I were thoroughly impressed. They dealt with all of the wood, put it in a wood chipper and even swept to make sure no leaves or debris were left. We had another tree's roots exposed and the team made sure to let us know and helped us out with it. I would highly recommend AMDM tree service for all of your needs! They won't disappoint. Had previously used AMDM for some tree removal a few months back. This time I wanted some bushes removed from my planters under my front window and some plants added. I spoke with David and he explained he will come by and give me a layout and an estimate. He came out and explained what they would be doing and showed me the plants and flowers he would be adding and also the wood chips and weed barrier he'd be installing. One of the best service experiences ever! This is the best yelp review I can possibly give: best price, best communication, and best service. I dealt with David over text messages for getting the quote and scheduling. I didn't meet him face to face until the day after the work was complete where I happily wrote him a check. Two 60 year old jacaranda trees and stumps removed along with two other stumps. All removed the same day while I was basically at work. Broke a couple of fence pickets during the cutting. He showed up with replacement pickets, color matching stain and tools to replace. He called the city when one of the branches got caught on the electrical line, and the city came out and took care of it. Very responsible and professional. It was really nice to get results without having to be there to point out some details like you do with some other contractors that cut corners. I am one very satisfied customer. Had an appointment for an estimate "around 12". They never showed up. I called around 1 30 asking where they are and the company said the person who's supposed to come is on their lunch break. 5 mins later I get a call saying they aren't coming. Total joke. AMDM does not stick to their word, always has an excuse, and does the bare minimum amount of work for it to pass. I've been contacting them every other day via phone and yelp and have barely received a response. They said they would come back and finish the touch ups of a job and replace some grass they said would grow back but didn't and that was about a month and a half ago. I paid them since they promised they would come back for it (they said this right to my face and shook on it) and I figured they seem nice enough and it was literally just a little bit more to complete the job and they promised they'd come back. I should've known since they're work has been just good enough to get by and they weren't always timely. I like to trust people and they have 5 star reviews here on Yelp so I figured it would be okay, but this has been ridiculous now that I keep getting put off and no timetable for well over a month. I'm sorry I couldn't recommend them anymore since the customer service, communication, non completion of the job, and integrity is not there. read more

I gave a detailed description of my needs and added a photo. Within a few minutes, an estimate. A few quick texts back and forth and I had an appointment in an hour (subject to availability, of course.) Other service providers and contractors could learn something from them. I found 2 highly rated tree removal services on Yelp. I text both businesses and David responded right away. I text him a picture of what needed to be removed, he gave me a quote, and then we scheduled a day and time for him to come out. Easy! The other business, on the other hand, didn't bother with my inquiry. It turns out there was something wrong with his phone and "Jae" needed to go to the Apple store to fix it. He said this was the 6th time it happened to him! I figured you would get it fixed after the 1st or 2nd time so you don't keep losing business! Duh. Anyways, back to AMDM... they came Friday morning as scheduled. David met with me in the front, knew which tree to take care of and said it was gonna be done in 25mins. His crew pulled up with their legit equipment and took care of business. I wish I was able to take before and after pics but I didn't lol. That's how fast and efficient they were.
