The worst about the web is here! My articles were promised available but they were not. 3 months later I'm still waiting and of course they took my money when I made the order. Now that I'm asking to cancel the order and to get my money back they answer that it's not possible. Unless I'd like tu buy something else with the same amount! I couldn't agree more with the last review. I received an almost identical response on my order. I have been waiting 3 months for shipment to occur. I call and wait and wait and wait on hold for some to answer my call. I have called at least 20 times, and only have gotten someone to answer twice. In both cases they say the order is coming, last time they said I will receive an email within 1 hour with shipping information. It is now two days later and no response, no email, no nothing. I would never order from them again. I ordered some lamps almost a month ago. One of them arrived smashed and the bulb that was despatched with it was not the one I had ordered. In accordance with Ambiente Direct's procedures, I took a picture and sent it to them. I waited weeks to hear back from them regarding the procedure for dealing with items damaged in transit. They take approximately a week to respond to emails, and 30 minutes to answer the telephone. All responses are unhelpful. I have now despatched the broken item back, and they are refusing to refund the purchase price offering instead to put the money towards another purchase from them. I have quoted all the relevant consumer legislation to them. Unfortunately, the applicable jurisdiction to their contracts is German, so I am unable to issue a claim against them in the UK. read more

I would give zero starts if I could. I am so angry I won't give much detail. Order arrived and was wrong. impossible to get hold of them, and when you do terribly prepared employees who cannot speak english or sort the problem out. Bad custumer managent. Bad response. Never Seen such lousy customer service! Unprofessionalism made in Germany! I order two pricy garden chair of teak wood from Grenen . One chair was damaged in a way that was not due to transport handling. Without delay, I wrote to the Customer Service twice and tried to call the Hotline several times. I canceled my Order within the relevant 14 days period, sent the chairs back with the necessary special transport for over EUR 80 and requested the repayment of the purchase price and transport costs. The only reaction I have ever received was an automated Mail receipt, no call, no money so far, another 14 days after Ambiente received the chair back. I will definitely have a chat with my lawyer next week. @ Ambiente: Even of you rearrange your supplier and distribution chain, what is so difficult about hiring a few more temps Ort students to support your Customer service? If your Choice is to neglect the needs and rights your customers , then you deserve to loose a lot of them! read more

To be avoided. Information on the website is not reliable or even misleading. The items with on stock status are not available. Client service is poor. Recovery of your money is very difficult.
