I have to give a 5 star rating!!…read more My daughter in law set the appointment with "A Slice of Life Photography" (Kristi) for my grandson's first birthday pictures. My grand daughter joined in on one photo. She wore a dress with Buffalo Plaid and he wore jeans with the Buffalo Plaid being seen through the tears in his little jeans, and his shirt also showing the plaid. Kristi did an amazing job matching the back ground. Decorated with black and red balloons, banner, little tree logs, little pine tree. red lantern and the pancake cake my daughter in law had was perfect. Rustic and ever so cute. When it came to ordering, I was a little nervous. I live in California and wondered how it would all work and how the prints would arrive. Kristi made it so easy. Communicated through email with quick responses back. She emailed me when the prints were sent with the date of expected arrival. She also asked me to email her to make sure they arrived safely and met my expectations. They were beyond my expectations. Beautiful prints and excellent quality. You can't go wrong making your memories with "A Slice of Life Photography" and Kristi is wonderful to work with!

My daughter was married in Rexburg Idaho in 2015. Though the Atrium was already booked by another…read morebride, we were able to hire the services of the general manager of the Atrium as our wedding planner. We were in California and the wedding in Idaho, so as the parents of the bride, we needed not just someone to give some recommendations, but someone to plan every detail to perfection. Due to the services of professional wedding planner, Missy Pocock, everything was INCREDIBLE. The team assembled by wedding planner Missy included Catered Your Way for the hot platted dinner and the reception dinner buffet (owner is chef Dave Pyrah in Idaho Falls), the wedding cake (best wedding cake we have ever tasted) and reception dessert bar was executed by Lanae Workman, owner of Paisley Cakes out of Blackfoot Idaho, the photography/invitations/stretched canvases were executed by Michelle Heaps Photography, Floral was done by Floral Art, and finally, the white leather relaxation lounge and performance room was created by furniture and infrastructure from Signature Party Rentals. To be fully appreciative of all contributors, I should mention Picture Perfect (very unique and fun picture booth (expensive but worth it), Smarty had a party (special service items), and Red Tie Events (the DJ). However, let me finish where I started. Every element was managed by Missy Pocock. She exceeded our expectations 1000 times over. Thank you so much Missy Stewart Pocock! See attached pictures...

STAY AWAY! Horrible Management and Refund Scam…read more I stayed at this property on July 10th. We originally booked a two-bedroom stay, but since my parents could not make it, we canceled one room. At check-in, the front desk employee explicitly promised us a refund of $228 within 10 days. Twelve days later, no refund appeared. I called the hotel, and the same front desk worker claimed the refund was processed and told me to check with my bank. My bank confirmed absolutely no deposit or pending refund was ever made. When I called the hotel back again, the manager (who claimed to also be the owner) finally called me today. He was incredibly rude, hostile, and screamed at me. He claimed my case was "weird" because it was a third-party booking and that they hadn't received the money--even though I paid directly at the front desk and have the bank statement proving they charged me! When I told him the front desk employee promised the refund, the manager said they let that employee go because he "lied to customers." When I asked for a straight answer on whether they would honor the refund instead of wasting my time and making me chase my bank, the manager literally screamed at me, told me not to call him a liar, declared he would NOT give me my refund, and insultingly told me that I "should speak English better." This place has horrible, abusive management. It is absolutely not a 5-star hotel, and it is a complete rip-off to pay $572 for one room just to be treated with racism and hostility. Do not stay here!

My wife and I just stayed at the Eagle Peak Lodge and it was terrific! We called the day before to…read moresee if they had rooms available and talked with Jesse. He was so helpful and kind. I asked if they had any ev charging stations in the area. He told me he didn't have any idea but he would look if we had a minute. About 30 seconds later he said he found info that showed there were some behind a pizza place in town. Jesse said he had never seen them but it showed they were there. We asked about restaurants and he said the chargers were right behind his 2nd favorite place to eat (Five 11 Main Pizzeria and Soda Fountain). I asked what his first choice would be and he said Big Juds, right next door. We arrived earlier than we expected and a different gentleman named Scott greeted us and allowed us to check in early and was also as nice as he could be! We told him it was a rest day/down day and he said if you want a cool drive you may want to consider a drive to Mesa Falls. It was awesome and so were both restaurants that we were told about! Our hotel room was great! It was a large, clean room with a very comfortable bed and incredible shower/water pressure! It was perhaps the best pressure we have ever had at any hotel - it was that good!!! We will definitely be back to the hotel if we are in the area again!!! We stopped there before going to the Grand Tetons. Also, the price of the hotel was less than 1/4 of the cost of hotels inside the park!!! Scott and Jesse were amazing, the hotel was clean and neatly decorated, the price was great, and we couldn't have been happier! Go see them the next time you're in Ashton, ID.
