Good crew. Fast. Good aerial cutter. Dropped the tree with no issues or damage. One big downside is…read morethat they quoted it with "Remove chips" but left me the chips. Try getting rid of a cubic yard or two of wood chips from the stump mixed with dirt. Know that you are stuck with the chips if you use their stumper. Maybe use City Tree for the tree cutting and a separate stump guy who is willing to actually remove the chips. I went with City Tree because they said they would take the chips. Mistake. By the time I realized, they were long gone.

Recently I had an opportunity to interact with this company on two occasions. First was related to…read morework they were doing in the neighborhood, I believe as a contractor for the City of Toledo, Ohio. During a walk I was taking on the sidewalk, they were working on I discovered an ax they had left behind as they moved on to another location two blocks away. When I brought their attention to their ax on the side of the street they were flippant in reply. "Oh yeah, we are going back over there later." I pointed out that an ax is a dangerous tool for a neighborhood with children, and children do reckless things. The reply was "We will send someone over to get it", not a concerned professional response. And in time someone did go over and pick it up and was considerate and courteous, as an employed adult in public should. But since this company is being contracted by the City of Toledo using taxpayer dollars, gotta tell ya it is offensive. I don't know about all employers but I do know that any that I've known would like to know about the behavior of their employees. So that the company's reputation can be maintained as a professional and reliable agent of the contract with the City of Toledo signed for and is paying with taxpayer dollars. The second contact was when I called the number on the side of the vehicles they had parked on the city streets. I spoke to the person and identified the behavior displayed, both the dangerous misplacement of equipment that could be injurious to others and the disinterested concern. The unattended ax also could be a legal matter to both the company and to the City of Toledo, even though the name on the side of the vehicles was Barnaby's Tree Service. That's odd, isn't it? So I called the phone number 419 466-4961 and that person said he would talk to the crew and indicated his opinion that there is not much he could do about it, then said That is the way people are nowadays, and then HUNG UP! Using the public forum it seems right to share this moment with the residents of the City of Toledo, as taxpayers. And the employees of this company (whichever name they are using) to know how they are being clumped together as disrespectful reckless adults unable to control their own behavior. Oh, don't forget the motto "You will do better in Toledo" This is not a good example.
