Well, my guard was down and with the rhythm of a live band pumping from inside I was a moth to a flame. After climbing a set of stairs and navigating a tight dance floor/dining room, we were seated at a table by the window. It was loud, real loud! Who's our waiter? This guy? That guy? Who knows?! With the menu in hand I pointed to the 60 peso price and ordered two "Vodka Ricky's." It's basically a vodka/soda water with lime juice under a fancier name. They came out quickly, we sipped and formulated a plan to escape seeing that London Blue didn't turn out to be our speed. Confusion set in when we requested our check. Nobody seemed to know who our waiter was until the dude who showed us to our table appeared about ten minutes later. He had a chicken scratched piece of paper, (not an official check like the table around us) that he had hastily scribed "Vodka Ricky - 2 = $190.00." We were quick to catch the 70 Peso increase and called him out on it. Caught off guard and quick to defend, he whipped up the explanation that "you ordered vodka but then you added 'Ricky' to it." Our first reaction? Laughter! Am I going to argue over the equivalent of $3.50? No. Props to you for pulling a fast one on us but shame on you for perpetuating the negative reputation of tourists getting taken advantage of, London Blue.

Right up from the beginning it seemed a decent place, plus its on the zona rosa so i thought it couldn't go wrong, one of the bouncers run us in with a waiter to get a table and the experience started to go to the drain when we are escorted to a dirty table, that they just wouldn't even consider on cleaning, i ask just for sake if i could get a table by the window, waiter hesitates but then aceed to it, but hell it was just as dirty. Leaves a bunch of cheap napkins and was able to clean it a little, there was a live band and my girl liked it so well i went and ordered a missile (3 liter beer ) just to kill 1-2hrs .. really was a dud that night so i said well we are here already, so stayed, place was old and im sure on daylight it looks like crap with their paint all black and dirty. Bad lighting .. using really effortless lighting was really annoying with some lasers and flashlights and a smog machine, plus their music seemed like they where from youtube as most of their songs had their video on the TVs they have on.. but that was cool. just really mediocre. Place started to get alil full by midnight but it never ever got full, service was crappy, but got asked like 3 times if i was fine, in the 3 hrs i was there, anyways.. it was alright i guess but it was overpriced but thats prolly cuz of the zone. They brought a mariachi that night... like at 12ish .. thou it was just a 30 minute thing .. there was a dancing scene when they arrived, so they killed the moment, and i decided to leave after i couldn't stand the mariachi for over 1 hr. We were groped while the security patted us down, not just a regular check. These people grabbed and touched places they shouldn't have. It was degrading and humiliating. They tried to tell us something but after I said I don't speak Spanish they laughed in my face, spoke amongst each other and then they pulled out my vapes and told us they were drugs but could finally go in. We were completely fed up and said those are not drugs and to give them back because we didn't feel comfortable going In. They then proceeded to kick us out. I think what bothered me the most about this place is that they force you to check-in items like Imodium even though I explained to the security that it was for my stomach. They argued back saying it was "medicine" and it needed to be checked in for 20 pesos or be tossed out... Really, what? Everytime I come out here, I get upset stomachs, but I guess they don't know what Imodium is used for, LOL. My friend had some other personal (none drugs) pills confiscated. The atmosphere and music is fun here, but if you come here, just know THEY WILL SEARCH YOU COMPLETELY. They look in each wallet sliver, dig into pockets, and get close to your crotch area. One of the bartenders also overcharged me for Vodka Redbulls. He literally told the cashier to charge 400 pesos but asked me for 500... I gave him 600 (not knowing he charged me with a tip). The next time I went to get drinks, I confronted him and he apologized. Just be aware of pricing!
