I went into the Woodbridge location for a lash lift and tint and left looking nearly identical to how I went in. The so called "master stylist" that I booked with did not provide me with any information about the service nor any aftercare instructions either. My lashes have the slightest curve to them but they don't look lifted at all. I asked for a black tint on my lashes too and they don't even look tinted. It literally looks like my natural lashes. I feel like it was a complete waste of over $100 to leave with my lashes looking the same as they usually do. Do better. read more

So I was hesitant about coming here based on previous reviews. It was my first time getting lash extensions (normally do my own strips) but got tired of the hassle and wanted something that I don't have to do myself. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a smile and the COVID restrictions they put in place kept me at ease. The place was clean and the staff was super friendly. I had to wash my lashes then Natalia greeted me as my stylist. You could tell Natalia took her time and went over my lashes meticulously. I told her what I wanted and shared a photo of myself with lashes that I felt comfortable with and she recommended the Classic Gorgeous style. She talked me through the process and went to work. Afterward, the staff let me know about after care. I have an insane habit of rubbing my eyes and they told me what to be careful of and what to do and what not to do. I also have trips coming up involving water such as the lake and beach. I made my two week appointment effortlessly and the front desk let me know that if anything happened over the weekend to give them a call. Updating my rating because I'm disgusted at what they've become. I've been a member since July 2017 and absolutely LOVED the lashes. They had a lot of ups and downs with various glue but I stuck with it because I need the convenience of lashes. Over the last several months my lashes have looked absolutely terrible, even walking out with a fresh fill. I could tell my real lashes were suffering even though I was using serum and doing everything I could to make them healthy. I also noticed that they were taking much less time to apply them and when a lash would fall out, it would usually have 2-3 real lashes attached to it which is not what should happen considering it causes bald spots. I told my stylist and she acted like I was crazy. I tried different stylists and come to find out that they keep cutting everyone's time, insisting they do it faster and faster even when the girls say they need more time. If they go over to give you a full fill they get in trouble. They also are so rushed they can't let the glue dry as much as it should which causes your lashes to stick together and more loss of natural lashes. I went to another place (a girl who used to work there) and she said it was so bad they should offer a full take off and new set for free. I don't want anything to do with them and I'm mad I have to pay another month after canceling. I'll attach a picture of my lashes to see how much you lose at once. This is just bad business. I'm very disappointed with this business. I realized how poorly managed it is. Overtime I saw a turnover of employees who were not happy. I would finally find someone that I liked and then was told after the fact that I would be charged $20 more for a "master" stylist. So rather than paying $20 more on top of my monthly membership and another $20 or more for tipping, I decided to cancel. I was then told to freeze my account and that I would be notified in three months as a reminder to ask if I wanted to cancel it still or resume. I called back again and said I wanted to cancel my membership before the three months was up. I was told that would happen. However, I was still charged. I called and asked for a refund and was told by the manager Gladys that I could not have my $140 refunded back to my credit card. She said she would send me a form to cancel for the next month. When I received her email it came from a title of Studio 0157. If they had claimed that that sent me any prior notices about my three months ending there was no way any customer would know this was from Amazing Lash so as it turns out they all went to my spam folder. If I had not been looking for her email I would've never known this was Amazing Lash reaching out to me. She told me I had to fill out a form to cancel my membership. I did do that and sent it back to them via email but received no confirmation that my form was received. I called again a few days later to confirm receipt of my cancellation form. They said they still did not receive it. The lady on the phone, however, said she was able to go into the system to cancel my membership anyway. Obviously the manager could've done that when I spoke to her directly. After I was told my membership was cancelled I still have not received any confirmation and was told I had to wait for Gladys to come back to work for another week to ask about my refund for my charge. This whole situation has been completely deceptive. I urge anyone who wants to cancel to be very diligent about asking questions, getting confirmation and to look out for emails that don't reflect accurately. If it's not too late, don't sign up for their membership as they'll make it very difficult for you. I still have not received my refund that was charged to me Dec 20, 2023. read more

Her high energy and happy go lucky attitude is so refreshing! She was very informative but it wasn't very cold it was almost as if I was talking to a friend helping me figure something out so that was quite pleasant. After she explained to me what I needed to do and how the process of getting my lash extensions was going to be I waited for my lash lady. My lash lady was an absolute doll! Her name was Starr I would for sure recommend her , how she did my lashes were beautiful I was in complete awe after the whole process! This company stole my MONEY $250. I've never had such poor service. I called and booked my first appointment. When I spoke to Danielle on the phone she told me that if I paid for a subscription it wouldn't be in addition to my first service. That was a lie!!! Why I continue after that was because the person that did my lashes did an amazing job. Today I was due for a refill of my lashes only to get back to this location and find that my appointment has been cancelled. The owner needs to go through that place and clean it out. People running your business are immature and have absolutely no customer service skills or business acumen. It appears to be a revolving door as it relates to staff. Appointments are constantly canceled, no one return calls, ostensibly disorganized and not a conducive environment to a more mature, professional clientele. This is yet another review complaining about this studio cancelling appointments. They cancelled my appointment for lash extensions and a brow wax/tint because they didn't have a credit card number on file for me. They could have called to get one, but they didn't. They sent me a text the day before my appointment warning that they would cancel it, I tried calling and nobody answered, and then that night the appointment was cancelled and my time slot was given away. I have an event this week and will not have this service done as I had hoped, since nobody else in the area has availability on such short notice. This policy is truly bizarre, inconsiderate, and unnecessary. If having a credit card number on file is so important to this business, they should securely collect one at the point of booking the service. At the very least they should be willing to call a customer and speak with them on the phone before cancelling. My advice: don't book with this studio ahead of an important event, as you may be left high and dry. read more

I'm going with three stars right now, because I think they're working out the kinks, but I feel like within the year they'll be four or five stars. I have been here three times now, but I never felt like I should base a review of my two previous visits because the first one was before they opened and im pretty sure it was the girl who did my lashes' first practical. There was way too much glue used the first time and I ended up ripping out majority of my lashes by the root on my left eye, so when I came for the second time I hadn't yet grown all my lashes back, so there was only but so much the girl could do with what I had. Today I was scheduled with Valerie and after she started doing my extensions refill she asked if it would be okay if she removed the original lashes and started over with a full set at no additional charge. I had no plans, so, heck yes! She explained that previously too much glue was used so the lashes were all stuck together, and as she was trying to separate them with the tweezers it was taking so much time that she could do a full set faster. When she taped me up she didn't get the tape on my contact lens like one of the other girls did and the tape was far more comfortable, not poking me at all! The icing on the cake was that she didn't clip me as I have been clipped before, probably over a dozen times as the extensions are being done. Lemme tell you, that hurts like a bitch! We talked a tiny bit and she told me she's ambidextrous, so she's lucky because the other girls were having a hard time trying to do left eyes with their right hands! Oh, and I was there for over three hours, because of the fill attempt, the removal and the full set, and I started to get an anxiety attack, but she was very accommodating and opened the for, got me a mint and sat me up. Basically, I love her. My friends and I all go get our lashes done here and they love their techs as well, they see demi and diamond. They give you a blanket and a pillow for under your knees, which is awesome because it got a little chilly in the 2 hours I couldn't move. The extensions look great, but aren't as exaggerated as I wanted; but I was told that my lashes couldn't support more- so no big deal. The technician did get my bottom lashes stuck to the new ones on top, which was a little painful at the end. She got them apart and now they've settled. I think they look lovely and they've boosted my confidence. None of my friends could tell I got the extensions, which I haven't decided if that's a plus or a negative. They were all so helpful and patient with me in making my first lash experience a good one. They were so accommodating and understanding , the sweetest ladies honestly. I would also like to also shout out the lash stylist, Cam (who did my first set),and the master stylist, Jen (Jennifer, who did my second set). The ladies at this establishment truly care about their customers and I can't wait for my next session! After having lashes installed that fell out within a couple of days, I was ready to cancel my membership, but I was given a free upgrade to get my lashes done by a master stylist and I haven't looked back! Do yourself a favor, pay the $10 upgrade fee and see Jen. She is bomb and your lashes will look bomb, too!! If Jen isn't available, Katie, another master stylist, will hook you up. I came here 01/06/2023, mind you I've been to amazing lash studio before and never had a problem up until 02/2022 took a year break then came back. I've also been elsewhere and NEVER had issues however when I went into the Woodbridge location I ended up with my left eye essentially shut and have to take steroids now. However today claimed she could help me then stated bc I had informed them of the issues prior she could not help me only Gladis or "Kara" EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS NEVER PUT ON MY RECORD UNTIL I HAD INFORMED OF THEM PROVING THAT THEY HIDE ANY CUSTOMER ISSUES. I paid $240 before tip for a full set and would like a refund however keep getting passed around after I was required to go to urgent care and be put on STEROIDS? FOR A WEEK? FOR "EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF GLUE" Had to call out of work FOR TWO DAYS. Made an appt for removal and full volume set. Showed up to appt, had lashes removed and upon conversation with technician what I made appt for is not what was put in system. I have had many removals before from many different studios and never had the product to remove lashes burn. I get up to front to pay for removal and get out of there and am told appt could have easily been changed to volume but now I dont have time. Now I have no lashes, no eyeshadow and have another appt for another service elsewhere. Listen, I have been slacking in the self care department with juggling work, parenting, and sprinkling being deathly sick on top and you have a complete poop show on your hands..aka ME! I was so happy Amazing Lash was able to pencil me in with their Master Stylist (M.S.) Jen. If you don't know the M.S are high demand so get in while you can! Jen was phenomenal!! For my service I got 6D lashes. My eyeballs are not your standard size (I have snapchat filter eyes, yall) so in order for mine to pop, I need VOLUME. On smaller eyes, you might want to opt for 3D or less...completely up to you. Ok back to Jen....She was gentle, meticulous, and timely. Most importantly my eyes weren't bloodshot red when she was done (the attached pic was taken literally 5 min after she was finished...ignore the eyebrows because well poop show, remember? )...If you're a FLL (Frequent Lash Lover ‍) then you've experienced the dreadful "pink eye" from wherever you go to get your lashes done at least once.
