Visiting from the United States in July 2024, I went to this pharmacy to purchase some French…read morefacial creams and other products. I was assisted by the manager, Mr. Le Roux, at first, and then by a pleasant female co-worker. The manager apologized later for transferring me to his colleague, but explained he had a phone appointment just about the time I came in to the store. I used my limited French at first, but both were able to speak to me in English and transitioned pretty quickly. During my transfer over to the female colleague, I inadvertently left my wallet on the first counter with all my Euros and US dollars in it (there was no ID). My credit cards and ID were in another wallet. I didn't realize this wallet was missing until the next day when I was in Giverny and I wasn't returning to Paris until 5 days later. Since Pharmacie Charles Michels was the last place I shopped at, I was hoping I had left it there. I had an interpreter call the pharmacy to explain my problem and indeed they had my wallet. They knew it was mine, but because there was no ID in it they had no idea how to contact me. They had been waiting for my phone call! I returned to the pharmacy on July 3, 2024, and picked up my wallet with all the cash intact! There are honest and kind people all over the world and I am so grateful for Mr. Le Roux and his team at Pharmacie Charles Michels! They would not accept a reward for finding and keeping my wallet safe until I returned to Paris. I will definitely return to their store and I would highly recommend them to everyone! Merci beaucoup!

On my trip to Paris, one thing that has surprised me and always does abroad, is how Pharmacies are…read moreso different compared to what we are used to in the UK, most pharmacies abroad seem to be smaller brands, all named Pharmacie and then something or other, and not the typical Boots, Superdrug or Well, that we are used to in the United Kingdom, this is kind of nice yet really confusing and interesting for me. Back to my original review, this is quite a nice, fairly decent size pharmacy in Charles Michels area of Paris, right next to a Starbucks Coffee and near the Beaugrenelle mall, where there are many shops including Marks and Spencer and a Monoprix, but as far as I'm aware there isn't a pharmacy so this is much needed. I called in here, while on vacation in Paris, not feeling very well, I was looking for some liquid paracetamol as tablets didn't seem to be agreeing with me, it was a little hard to explain due to the language barrier but I did find some, and it was quite reasonably priced too for 3 euros, and I'm glad the member of staff didn't try to take advantage of me, firstly being very ill and secondly being British, speaking English and I probably would have paid 10 euros, being so unwell and not having a full idea of what the prices should be in France, especially Paris which is such an expensive coffee, where you can pay double or treble the price of coffee in a normal cafe than in the UK. They did have a decent selection of stuff, but the staff didn't seem too helpful, she constantly had to check with someone else, and they didn't seem like a trainee either, I'm not really sure why. I also had to run out of the building, as I felt so unwell, I was surprised that no one come to see if I was okay, or pass me some tissues, instead I had to ask a french person who very kindly was passing by and tried to help, but still I'm surprised the pharmacist didn't and seemed more interested in getting the money than doing there job, I know it wasn't really there job, but if they did come and check up on me and ask if I was okay, that would have been nice. This Pharmacy is basically average but still due to a lack of branding, standing out from the crowd and poor staff I sadly feel this doesn't deserve anything over than two stars, I'm sorry to report.
