Long after my wonderful summer in France, I am convinced that I certainly didn't eat enough crêpes…read more Despite the fact that during my trip to Quimper, I basically had crêpes for the entire weekend.
At L'Ardoise, I had a scallop, bacon, marinara sauce and salad crêpe. Seems a bit strange to put salad on the crêpe, but I was in dire need of vegetables (and in France, any kind of greens you get taste amazing, no matter how they're prepared or what kind). Additionally, this was my second scallop crêpe fot he day, and being closer to sea, I wanted to eat as many scallops as I could. The whole package was solid.
For dessert, I had my first speculoos crêpe, and it was certainly worth the wait. Yum!
Now that I've talked about the food, I can talk about the ambiance. This is a great place for a date. It's super cutely decorated, and manages to make Ikea furniture look really classy and romantic.
I would happily return!
