Shortly afterwards I was put into the background process with a private investigator named Stephen Clifford who ran his own investigative firm. I turned in a bunch of documents as requested. About a month later I received a letter from Calaveras HR stating I was no longer being considered. Mr. Clifford did not even conduct any kind of background investigation. He contacted a few references and that was it. I never even fingerprinted for their department yet a complete background was completed. What a shady investigative firm, I believe the Chief hired his personal friend to do the investigative work. Very unprofessional and totally wasted my time. I would not recommend anyone to apply for work in Calaveras county.

This past visit the patient police employee assisted us with the alarm registration as my wife went online at home but could not figure out how to renew that darn alarm system & she didn't want to wait any longer than necessary or pay the 50 dollar fine in March like six years before. If you observe what she did online you would understand what I mean! So my wife filled out the form/application at the nearby table & chairs. The lady whom I didn't get her name said it would be taken care of now. Yay! Got one thing done & out of the way! My wife checked it today online & confirmed it was renewed until 2029! My wife received the confirmation email in her spam folder too. Like what? Normally we use their EGPD Volunteers for house vacation watch & drop off donations when appropriate. This visit was absolutely necessary & my wife was thrilled it was taken care of!!! I'm sure we would return again in three years again to renew in person than do it online which was not apparent to do. Like why don't they make it clearer? OR LISTENING TO THE FULL STORY OF WHAT HAPPENED. CAUSING MORE HARM. This statement details the events surrounding a vehicle purchase from MS Auto Sales, located at 1908 El Camino, which involve criminal acts of theft, fraud, and forgery. My wife and I traveled from the Bay Area to Sacramento via Amtrak to purchase a vehicle from this Used Car Dealership. I had previously negotiated a purchase price of $9,000 for the vehicle with the owner, Jumanji. I found the vehicle on Craigslist. Upon our arrival at the dealership, finance manager and owner Sammy Solomeh, delayed us until closing time. At that point he came and ask for the down-payment, Sammy Solomeh, presented me with a stack of documents to sign. Mr. Solomeh controlled the entire signing process by presenting one document at a time, directing me exactly where to sign, and then immediately removing the document before I could review it. My wife asked him, "Are you going to explain what he is signing?" Mr. Solomon replied, "Yes, but they're only regular car buying documents." He stated that once I finished signing everything, he would "be right back to explain everything." This did not happen. AS I WENT TO THE VEHICLE TO LOOK OVER IT, I saw Sammy Solomeh, leaving the premises driving away. After shouting Sam's name, another salesman who was closing the steel doors handed me an envelope with documents inside and said, "Thanks for doing business with us." I asked him, "What about Sam? He was supposed to explain the documents he got me to sign." The salesman responded, "Well, you're gonna have to deal with Sam tomorrow." I gave a $5,000 down payment for the vehicle. I later discovered that this $5,000 was never applied toward the negotiated $9,000 sale price. The documents that Mr. Solomon rushed me to sign also included charges for unknown add-ons that I never agreed to purchase. Furthermore, I have discovered a Law 553 finance contract with my name forged on it. I was never presented with this contract, I never signed it, and I had no knowledge of its existence until after the transaction. There were also significant discrepancies with the vehicle's condition which were not disclosed or stated on the Carfax report provided by the dealership. I have attempted to file a police report with the Sacramento Police Department regarding these matters. However, every officer I have spoken with has immediately dismissed my complaint as a "civil matter" without conducting any investigation or hearing the full details of the incident. I believe the acts of forgery, fraudulent inducement, and theft by deception constitute a criminal case that warrants a full investigation.

Here, the center is thriving and entirely run by volunteers and Managed by Molly Fling (community leader and NCA Board Member). This place opened back in 2009 with the support of then Creekside President (and now Vice Mayor) Angelique Ashby. All of the equipment/furniture resources have been donated (which is simply amazing because they've got a refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave and more). Many hands make for light work and the Resource Center embodies that. The primary functions of the Resource Center are to support the Sacramento Police Department and its officers as well as the entire Natomas Community. Like I said, this place is completely run by volunteers and provide services such as fix-it tickets, filing online police reports, code enforcement issues (or you can call 3-1-1!!!!), crime/safety tips (in the form of countless handouts/pamphlets) city resources and so much more; I can't even touch on everything this place does because they do so much! If you need to know the hours the center is open, I suggest calling because they change often (for obvious reasons such as schedules change, new volunteers in and out, etc.) Molly runs the place and is such a great individual and resource. If she is there when you drop in, say hello and hear her story. She's always willing to lend a helping hand or point someone in the right direction.

I provided information and evidence regarding multiple incidents and was trying to get help keeping myself and my child safe. I felt that my concerns were not taken as seriously as I believed they should have been, especially given the repeated nature of the incidents and the evidence I had available. I understand that police officers have procedures they must follow, but as a victim, it was extremely frustrating and stressful to feel like I was not being heard or adequately protected. I am asking Stockton PD to take reports involving repeated harassment, threats, stalking, and restraining-order violations seriously and to make sure victims understand what steps are being taken. I hope the department reviews how these incidents were handled and works to improve communication and support for victims. This shit is a joke officer. They represent truly what police are supposed to be. (In my opinion) I do appreciate them for their support , and sense of urgency in some matters that were literally "too close to home". Recently because of their continued support they really made an impact on a very volatile situation taking place near us. No need to say what they specifically did, it's just good to know that there are people that posses a level of bravery, fearlessness, pride, and whatever it is that motivates them to create an environment that is one we all would agree is positively safe to live in. I can't say that I posses that level of bravery and poise to represent authority without a second thought,they do it gracefully and professionally. They take concerns seriously, they inform and they do protect by means of fulfilling their duty. I do believe that they do serve the whole community. They do a lot to set me at ease.

I was sitting on a park bench on broad daylight and he told me I was my parents property and had to go back with them. Another run in, they saw me walking alone and pulled up, recognized me from before, cuffed me for no reason and threw me in the back of the car. I was unarmed and cooperated with everything but they dislocated my shoulder and their excuse was that I was a "flight risk" when I cooperated with everything and made no move to run or be violent. They just stopped me because they recognized me from my past two incidents, and wouldn't release me until my parents arrived. Every experience I've had with them has been negative and it's extremely unprofessional. The one who threatened to tase me said "you know, I talked to Officer Wilson (the one handling the sexual assault case at school) about you. He said you like to make trouble." It's extremely unprofessional to talk about a kid like that and use it against them, when the case was mishandled and I was threatened the entire time. He said there was insufficient evidence of rape. I was fourteen, in a wheelchair, and had a girlfriend. The guy was several years older than me and my percussion captain in band. But I got punished for reporting him and the entire case was traumatizing because the police department handled it so poorly. I had to change schools. Not one good officer. I've had three experiences with them, one getting threatened for getting sexually assaulted, one for not breaking any laws just making my parents mad, and one because they recognized me from the last two and assumed I was "up to no good" when I was just walking on my own in late afternoon. They judge unfairly, jump to conclusions, and hold grudges. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would.
