Maximilian has a huge beer garden out front, but the tables were all full when we visited. The service inside was friendly and provided an English menu. The sweet potato fries were delicious and come with your choice of dipping sauce, the pizza was good as well. And as always the beer was the best part. The service here is quite good and the staff very accommodating. The menu has plenty of items on it for starters, mains and dessert. There is also a steak menu albeit smaller than one of their other locations in town. They did offer to send a taxi to pickup a Tomahawk steak from their other branch and cook it for us if we agreed to pay the taxi fare and wait a while to eat. I thought that was a nice touch. All of us ordered a steak and I had a rib eye cooked English style, medium rare but more on the rare side. It was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. They had a small wine menu but the wines were well priced and good. For dessert I had their house speciality, pancakes and it was also good. Overall a great experience and I would happily come here again. It's a great spot for people watching in the warmer months.
