    Shish Tawuk - delicious.

Excellent food - the chicken shish tawuk was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Cozy interior at Alwadi Terrace and nice service from Amin. Great spot overall.

the combo plate is a wonderful way to try all the different dips! some were sweet & some were savory, and the bread was a perfect vessel to try a little of everything. i also really how light and moist the falafel was!

Delicious and decently priced food. Made reservations for dinner a week before our trip. They had us in the Terraza portion of the restaurant that did not have air conditioning. We were tucked in a corner, and asked to be moved, to be closer to the fan but they misunderstood and thought we wanted the air conditioned side, which we happily accepted but I think the request irritated them. It took a while to be served but the restaurant was very busy. There was an obnoxious English speaker who was listening to videos on her phone and no one said anything to her. She was too far from us to say something but we could hear her phone loud and clear! We really liked the hummus and cannot believe I didn't get a photo, all of the lamb dishes were outstanding. We had different favorites for the main dish, each one of us liked a different lamb dish as the best. While service was slow, it was friendly and the food was delicious. I would go back and I would order an extra side of yogurt to have with the lamb dishes.

    Salad Alwadi

After touring the cathedral it was time for lunch. We wanted to try Alwadi because we like Mediterranean food and there was SALAD on the menu. After days of Andalusien food with very little green in it, we wanted salad. My wife had the Alwadi salad with beautiful lettuce, candied nuts, fruits, tomato and a marvelous sauce. We also had a Shish Taouk with generous pieces of kebab chicken with a sort of pita wrap. Service was very friendly. English spoken

Absolutely loved this place, the team and the food. I didn't have a reservation and they got me in. I also wanted to take food back to my family that was tired from traveling all day and it was no problem. The Birany de pollo was delicious and recommended by the team, not dry or creamy but something in between. I love Kibbi and this restaurant did not disappoint, the hummus and muhammara compliment was perfect. Ok I asked for a second glass of the sangria, refreshing. but not too strong. Strongly recommend, I'm hoping to return for my birthday tomorrow night!

My husband and I had an excellent dinner here. We didn't have reservations, but they still found a table for us. We had the labneh and muhammara appetizers-both flavorful, then I had the ouzi special and my husband had the beef skewers. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I had a very great experience here! I was greeted by a lovely gentleman (Mohannad?). The food was very delicious. I actually went here twice because it was so good! I got the fatet lahem and beriany de pollo. Absolutely tasty and great service! Highly recommend this establishment!

Stopped by while on vacation, everything was very good. Busy place, lots of people but the service was top notch. Highly recommend

Portions are huge so be careful with over ordering like I did. The tagine isn't a personal size but enough for two or more. Great English spoken here and had a great welcome from the employees here. They were extremely attentive and very generous. The tagine had a heck ton of cinnamon, more than I would've liked and would've been nicer if there was some rice or bread to go with it. The shawarma was okay, probably the better shawarmas I've had in Spain but no where close to the best I've had in my life. The cheese bread was enjoyable and I ended up having to take it to go because we had ordered so much food we couldn't eat everything in front of us. It kept really well and I ate it over the next day. The Patatas picante were very flavorful here but wish there was some sauce to go with it since they felt a little dry without. They were garnished with pomegranate seeds which made for a great and unexpected flavor combo. We totally planned to come back but completely forgot. Maybe if I'm ever in Seville again I'll return.

This is the real deal! You know you are eating authentic food when many of customers are Syrian and Lebanese. The shish taouk was a delicious marinaded chicken cooked over charcoal grill. Unbelievably delicious! Hummus was great, tabbouleh was delicious and the Yallanji (stuffed grape leaves) were totally unique. Many of the items had a garnish of fresh pomegranate seeds that really added an amazing flavor. Generous portions. The service was friendly and spoke excellent English. Highly recommend this place.

After eating Spanish food for a week we were ready for something different and decided to try Alwadi based on the reviews. We both love middle eastern food and were excited by the breadth of items on the menu. We started with the vegetarian grape leaves (doulmas) and the baba ghanoush. They were made with good ingredients but both had way too much lemon for our taste and we didn't really enjoy them. For our entree we split the chicken skewers which were served with French fries (not rice). The chicken was tender white meat and was quite good. The portions were large and this was just enough food. We also ordered a bottle of wine which they were out of, so opted for another bottle of white which was drinkable but not great. Compared with other middle eastern restaurants I've been to (albeit not in Seville) I consider the menu items we ordered at Alwadi to be average. I still would give it another try to try some other items.

The food, chicken shawarma, was delicious!! The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our waiter, Mohanad, was really nice and friendly. We had a moment and enjoyed some laughs with him. The restaurant was kid friendly and didn't have issues with our kids laughing and being a little loud. We really enjoyed our time here.

We ordered their roasted lamb with cous cous, garlic shrimp croquetta (that was the croquetta of the day), pork cheek stew with potato purée and the chocolate panna cotta for dessert. We also ordered their sangria and tinto de verano. Every dish we ordered was AMAZING - tasty flavorful well seasoned melt in your mouth meat bursting with flavors. We devoured every bite and it was hard to pick a favorite. Both the lamb and pork dishes were 11/10. Not just the taste but the presentation of every tapa was fantastic. Their drinks were also great. The dessert was to die for. This place is super packed during peak dinner hours and there is barely any room to stand. Since we walked in around 11pm, we got a seat and were well taken care of all thru the night. Also noticed alot of veggie options on the menu which was great. Service was awesome ambience is chic. I am certain I am going to crave their tapas once I am back home. Highly highly recommend this place when in Seville.

To call this place rustic would probably capture…read moreit best, it's really probably more like a cafeteria or a school room at a very old school. Tables perhaps a bit close together, not terribly comfortable. Loud, busy. As far as the service, it was our impression that our waiter was the only person serving the 30 or so tables in their dining room. Suffice it to say the service was not fast and not good. Inexplicably, every time we ordered a Coke we were asked if we wanted a Coke Zero. If I wanted a Coke Zero I would have said the words Coke Zero. Even when I asked for another Coke, he again asked "Coke Zero?" It took next to forever to get the check, and forever to get a cappuccino. At one point I took it upon myself to point the waiter to a table behind us that had been desperately attempting to get his attention. This was all not good. As to the food. First, our fault for not knowing what tataki meant. We did not expect to receive salmon that was seared on the outside and raw on the inside. So that one is on us, although we also think the meal came tepid at best. The lamb on couscous was dry and tough. The pork cheek stew was actually pretty good if a bit gluey. The calamari was good. The sushi as they called it was average. What they called the tiramisu was more like a pudding with some liqueur and chocolate on the top, and a little bit of breadish stuff in the bottom. Not my idea of tiramisu, and probably not yours either. So we could not get too excited about these various dishes. But what was particularly frustrating and bizarre was that two people sitting across from us ordered food that looked absolutely delicious. So we got to sit there wondering why we didn't order what they ordered. They ordered a large beef dish with potatoes which is on the menu, and we think they ordered a large octopus meal although we are not sure. Everything they had looked better than anything we had. So it may be that we somehow just picked the wrong items. So it was a strangely frustrating meal. This place has good reviews and we expected good tasting food. Unfortunately it did not work out that way, and the ambience and service were negative contributing factors. I can't entirely write this place off, only because the food other diners received actually looked very good. But I don't think I would go there again.

Although we still got right to business..... Delicious food. A great variety of dishes in the menu for all tastes including lots of exotic and yummy treats. Major props to the waiter who advised us against our post-work hunger-induced ordering frenzy. We cancelled one thing and he put our order into a sequence on his pad with a question mark beside the last tapa in case we got too full. We powered on but ended up struggling with the last dish. So he did know best in the end. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating and very efficient and relaxed simultaneously. They were on hand when we had questions and didn't rush us out the door even though we were the last to leave late on a Tuesday night. My recommendations are the biryani and the tagine de albondigas.... caution though....They're both very filling and quite rich. We ordered 5 tapas and 5 drinks between 2 and paid 16euro each. We left feeling super full so we could probably have knocked that last dish off the menu, saved a fiver and still been raving about the place..... so overall I'd say the place is pretty amazing!
