This is not a review I write lightly, as I rarely write unflattering reviews. However, when they…read moreare deserved, I am not shy about sharing my experience to inform others. This is a "popularly referred practice." Perhaps they are popular because of the volume of clients that they service. Still, the office is old, smelly, and overcrowded with clients in the parking lot and the lobby, and there are long waits. Their phone and in-person customer service causes people to slip through the cracks. If I could give zero stars, I would. After waiting months for an appointment, I was forced to leave crying profusely due to the harsh treatment and unprofessional bedside manner of Dr. Ramachandran, PCP at Greensboro Medical Associates. Avoid him and this office! I am disabled and was 3 minutes late, stuck in their overcrowded parking lot in an argument with another patient who had blocked my car in, and I couldn't get my walking equipment out of my back seat (despite arriving 10 minutes early). I made it into the office flustered and explained to the front desk, but that made no difference to the doctor. Dr. Ramachandran had made up his mind about me because I had already canceled a previous appointment due to a COVID-19-positive status and resulting complications (excuse me for following CDC guidelines!). The "kicker" (and gut punch) was his demeanor. He came into the room without introducing himself, with no attempt at seeming remotely interested in being there, and said, "Why are you here," in a flat tone. Confused, I repeated the question because I knew I had constantly communicated with his staff about my needs; he became exasperated and then specifically asked what was wrong with me. That's when I knew something was not right. I wondered if he was okay, and he said he could refer me to his P.A., but he didn't think he and I "would be a good fit." Mind you, he said this with minimal time in the room, little contact with me, and with the most disgusted look of disdain on his face, I began to cry. Being from the BIPOC community and now disabled, I have been on the receiving end of that demeanor and look, although very far and few times in between. I couldn't leave the room fast enough (and have a walking impediment). I went, crying, to the reception and asked that it be noted that I do not want Dr. Ramachandran to have anything else to do with my file or anyone else at Greensboro Medical Associates. The office did not correctly handle the cancellation of my initial appointment due to COVID-19, and I am unsure if that caused the doctor's justification of his treatment of me. Regardless, I am not satisfied with the communication breakdown, his egregious behavior toward me, and the lack of empathy from the medical office. I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone.

There are a few complaints in reviews here about the age of the office & condition of lobby bathroom. Yes, the furniture in waiting area is older; it is also well built and is still sturdy. I'm more interested in the higher quality care, than the age of lobby chairs. There is only one bathroom in the lobby area, and it is used by the adjoining lab, so it is, at times, not perfect. A "please clean up after yourself" sign might be helpful, or simply let the lab know the bathroom needs attention. Exam rooms are modern, well equipped, and always clean. Providers are all skilled, caring and compassionate. Insurance companies are not dictating your care here. Providers will of course find med's. For you covered by your insurance company, but they will also work hard to appeal denials when you truly need brand name or med's. Not on your formulary. Office staff are great; I've never had any billing errors. I do suggest arriving a few minutes early, as sometimes there is a line to get checked in; it is a busy a practice! I highly recommend.

I had been in severe pain for 10 years and finally found Dr. Cram through a referral through a podiatrist inn Eden, NC. I had much more confidence in a Moses Cone surgeon than UNC or Duke. We met in his friendly and efficient office 3 times, had a current MRI done and my cardiologist, GP and endocrinologist did some testing and gave me the green light for surgery. Dr. Cram had a final meeting with me, discussed the chances of a successful procedure (there was a 85% chance the surgery would be effective) and I figured the pain I was living with wasn't really any kind of life so I agreed and surgery was 6 weeks ago. He cleaned out my arthritis and installed titanium hardware to secure the plates in place. The area was then packed with a bone-growing organic mass and closed back up. I was also told to be very careful about bending and putting extra strain on the fusion. That was 7 weeks ago and I've been back once and he x-rayed my back and it was healing extremely well. I was told to try and get up to a hall-mile a day on a track and my muscle-tone would return to my legs wgixh had been basically unused for 2-3 years. I am no stranger to surgery and to say I wasn't apprehensive about going under again would be untrue. But, when I can sleep through the night, roll out of bed with no pain and look forward to exercising instead of loathing it, I'd say it was worth it. Dr. Cram's staff is fantastic: friendly, attentive and keeps the patient load moving. It's so nice to have my life back. Thank you. What a great Christmas present.

I saw Charlotte Nche, NP to establish a chart and she was very attentive, easy to talk to and I felt like she really cared about me and my concerns. The rest of the staff I interacted with were all very friendly and welcoming. LeBauer is apart of the Cone Health system so you are able to use their MyChart portal to update your information, to see any test results and to communicate with the office. This eliminated having to fill out that stack of paperwork you normally fill out at the doctors office which I greatly appreciated. Both my initial visit and return to have blood work done were very timely. For my initial visit I waited less than 5 minutes before being called back and the bloodwork took about 10 minutes total from my arrival to me walking out the door. Overall I am happy to be a patient at this location.

When I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly receptionist. My wait wasn't long at all. Matter of fact, I pulled out my phone in the waiting area to play a quick game. I couldn't finish a round before my name was called. That is amazing to me...I can raise my hand if asked if I've ever waited in what feels like a waiting room purgatory. The nurse quickly got me checked in. She explained the process thoroughly. She was very friendly. My visit was to see Charlotte Nche. She is so nice and considerate. She answered all of my questions. The lab team was also friendly. Everyone seemed pleasant. I would highly recommend going. This location is clean, modern and based on my first impression, I think they take care of their patients. I got really good vibes during my appointment. Oh...before I forget, I got my labs literally the next day with a follow up phone call. I just love it when I strike gold with any business!
