Everything that you can possibly think of can be hired at this loft-smelling, humble store, from Medieval costumes to Roman dresses to Victorian wear, to 70's flares, all at quotable hire prices. There's also a great selection of purchasable costumes hanging from the ceiling, and if you're more interested in dressing up as a mascot, you can hire giant Sonic, Shrek, or Bart Simpson heads. Yay! Pinocchio's looks quite traditional both internally and externally. The life size statues of a cow and a bowler-hatted chap (both standing outside) are unmissable from the roadside and the pavement of the Pershore Road. So you won't have any problems trying to find the store at all. Inside, you'll be greeted by more statues of cowboys, indians and other stereotypes, all helping to make the whole costume shopping experience feel fittingly theatrical!

When you walk in you expect this to be an amazing party shop, because of it's size and vibrancy, but instead you get a shock when a tiny pot of fake blood will cost you over a fiver! I recommend finding another party shop, if you can, to save yourself some pennies.

There is always a funky window display to check out and get a feel for the type of costumes they have. The launderette part of Fancy Pants has a number of washing machines and tumble dryers, including larger ones for big things like duvets etc. They run quite cheap, and change for the machines is provided there if you need it. The staff there are really good and very helpful. There is a pretty good seating area to wait while your clothes are washing, and there are magazines provided to help the time pass quicker!

Head upstairs and an Aladdins cave awaits you! The place is packed with everything , and I mean everything! It has served me so well in costumes for all my family including the victorian and tudor fancy dress for school trips. The staff could not be more helpful, and are very generous with how long you have the outfit for. They happily come up with suggestion after suggestion.. If I had to say anything against Fancypants it would be about the changing facilities which is the toilet - not the nicest changing area, but this is more than made up for by the enthusiasm of the staff.
