On a weekend you may need to wait a while to get a cut as there are only a maximum of three hairdressers and usually a que quite a bit longer than this. Also on a Saturday prices are slightly more expensive. The hairdressers are very friendly, although do tend to talk about football a lot; a subject I know next to nothing about. The cuts are decent, although if you want anything a bit out of the ordinary you might be better going somewhere else. No appointment is necessary, I don't even think you can make one if you wanted, so just pop in and get it cut.
