The place was pretty happening on a Sunday night. I was in the minority without a tattoo and a penis. Although I was not a fan of the cloud of smoke, the atmosphere more than made up for it. The bartender was knocking back shots with patrons and no English was spoken other than singing along to the jukebox. Winner.

Yet, only a 15 minute walk from our hotel in the financial district. Service was friendly. There was a bit of a wait for our dinners-- maybe about 40 minutes or so. But, either order appetizers or just order your beers and relax! I ordered the Schweinshaxe, my second in Germany, which was served with saurkraut. It was big enough to serve 2-3 adults! My companions ordered sautéed sole and wiener schnitzel. We also ordered sides of spinach, roasted potatoes, and spätzle (noodles). Everything was excellent, especially the schnitzel and roasted potatoes. We were too stuffed for dessert and were glad to have a bit of a walk back to our hotel. Highly recommend if you are visiting Frankfurt.
