I am a 5 star hotel kind of girl, but this was a last minute trip and all the 5 star hotels in Munich were already sold out. So the university where my husband was visiting booked us an apartment here. I was pleasantly surprised. The location, location, location is wonderful, in a real neighborhood where real people live. The hotel is on a quiet street, near a subway stop, convenient to everything with dozens of good restaurants in walking distance. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable. There's a excellent, enormous breakfast offered every day. (I am probably the only person to beg the waitress "Please don't bring me so much food!"). Claudia, the manager, is kind and helpful. She insisted on carrying my coffee down to my room when she noticed I was limping slightly. However...
There is no air conditioning. You must leave the windows open. (Also: No concierge, no room service.). If you're going to be uncomfortable with that, stay elsewhere. read more
