Do yourself a favour and try this place out. On our way from BC to Manitoba for a family reunion, tired of the fast food options in the towns near the Transcanada Highway, we were delighted to find this lovely restaurant. Located in a quaint older building with a tidy yard surrounding it, a very nice couple running the show, the restaurant clean, bathroom tidy - seemed like the perfect stop for mom and I. After checking out the menu options, we were quick to settle on the Club Sandwich and decided to upgrade the included fries to the poutine option. We were very glad we did and also that we decided to share the plate as the servings are generous. Best club sandwich we've ever had, not just "chicken" in with the fresh baked bread but a chicken breast. Great fries OMG, better gravy than I've had in a long time and the mozzarella they used in their version of our Canadian classic almost made it hard to share fairly. When the locals eat there you know it has to be great! One of them eating there had a stirfry dish that I wanted to steal so i think we have to stop there on our return trip. Happy travels everyone. read more
