I have to commend Alpybus for their fabulous communications with their customers. Calm and patient call-centre staff in UK contacted me in UK to say my son who had a significant foot injury from a snowboarding accident and had no phone .. hadn't yet boarded the bus and they were due to leave. They then had to wait for us to get the phone number of the person he was with to talk directly with them. This they did efficiently and without complaint. Their bus may be ten minutes late now but they have really gone the extra mile to pick up all their passengers. I can't thank them enough read more

Booked this to Chamonix from GVA as we had two large suitcases and carryons. Said it was door to door. Driver dropped us off 3 blocks from our hotel and pointed to a church and said it's to the right. We used Google maps to locate it and pulled our luggage uphill. Alpy customer service said door to door isn't always available??? Didn't tell us that when we booked. Took a local bus to the bus station and BlaBlacar to GVA for less than half what Alpy charged.Do not use Alpy read more

We used Alpy to transfer from Geneva to Les Houches for the start of the TMB. We had no issues on the way there. However, for our return trip to Geneva, Alpy cancelled our pickup time and re-booked us on a different bus approximately 3 hours earlier. We emailed them immediately and asked if the original time could be arranged. They said no, it could not. We told them we would not be off the trail in time for the earlier shuttle (we had a 20+km day to end our hike). Alpy confirmed they could reimburse us. We had to book a last minute shuttle from Chamonix to Geneva with a different company. Thank goodness there were other options to book last minute! As of 12/26/2025, we have STILL NOT received reimbursement for the day of travel on 9/18/2025. I received confirmation that the reimbursement would take up to 8 weeks. This has long passed and I have since sent three follow-up emails with RADIO SILENCE on Alpy's end. I have contacted my bank and have been reimbursed the amount. Horrible customer service and thievery for not reimbursing a service they failed to provide and stated they would reimburse. Would NOT recommend. read more

My driver cancelled my pre-paid private transfer 30 minutes before he was due in Megeve from Geneva...he was stuck in traffic and told me to ask for my money back and use another transfer company, which I did. I have emailed Alpybus every week since Feb 26 asking for the refund, and included the text saying he was delayed 40 minutes as well as the live phone call where he said he couldn't get there in time for me to make my flight. Still no response from Alpybus. This company is incompetent, and clearly doesn't care about customer service or repeat business. Phone employees are instructed not to let you talk to their supervisor or anyone who has authority to resolve a problem or issue a refund. I can't emphasize strongly enough...this is not an ethical business...use another transfer company. read more

This company (which merged with ChamExpress / GVA Transfers in fall 2023 to become AlpyTransfers [1]) seems to make a habit of engaging in fraudulent practices. I scheduled and paid in full for a transfer the week before my three-day trip, and the company confirmed the round-trip booking. The first half (from Geneva Airport to my drop-off location) went perfectly. However, two days later I got a call from company telling me they were changing my pick-up location because they "no longer go there in the winter season". They now wanted me to walk 20 minutes in the pouring rain (despite having paid for door-to-door service). When I declined and asked for the return trip to be cancelled and refunded, I was told by the representative that she would cancel the return, but I needed to send an email to request the refund. I did so. A few days later, they refused to issue the refund, because it had been a "last-minute cancellation". A colleague of mine had the exact same experience. Online reviews of the companies that have since become AlpyTransfers are also very negative. Thus, I strongly recommend against using this company, no matter what name they are going by. Alpybus informed us shortly before they were due to pick us up to take us to Geneva airport, that they would be an hour late. Because of a "technical issue". We had already paid for this transfer. We would have missed the flight. So we had no other choice than to book a taxi. So we ultimately paid twice. After weeks of trying to get our money back, we have been told that we can't have it back due to company policies. I.e. the traffic was bad. The traffic wasn't bad at all. I believe this is a very common occurrence with these cowboys. Absolute scammers. Stay away. Pay slightly more for a reputable company. read more

This was a absolutely terrible service. First off, after booking, I was told I would need to pay for an extra bag (€20). Then, 18 hours before my flight the bus departure time was changed, making my flight impossible. I went to the information booth at the Chamonix bus station and the woman explained that she wouldn't work with AlpyBus because their services are suspect. These guys are the only company for early morning departures from Chamonix-Geneva and thus take advantage... it's a bait and switch scam. Book with them at your own read more

DO NOT expect a reply from Alpybus if a dispute arises. *DO make sure you pay for any service from this 'transfer company' with a credit card, as you can make a claim using Chargeback/Section 75. Our party booked a return transfer from Geneva to Tignes for 17 people. For our return to Geneva, Alpybus provided a 15 seat transfer vehicle! The promised 10 min solution turned into a 90 min delay for two of our party, meaning check=in had closed and alternative fights/train travel had to be purchased. Alpybus are clearly at fault, because they failed to provide the agreed service. If a 17 seat vehicle had been provided at the agreed time, no issue would have arisen. Now a half decent company, concerned about critical reviews highlighting poor performance, might offer some compensation or at least engage in dialogue with affected customers. Not Alpybus. I know of many good companies who do take customer service seriously and are proactive in promoting their brand. What can you say about Alpybus = do they even respond to any reviews? We will be taking our business elsewhere in future, best of luck if you book with this lot. read more

These idiots cancelled my booking on the morning they were due to get me to Geneva airport which meant one of my friends missing a mornings skiing to get me to the closest train station so I could scramble to get my flight. Then even though they cancelled the transfer because a road was closed even though there were diversions in place that would merely have delayed the journey a bit they refused to refund me falling back on some pretty iffy wording in their t&cs. read more

Horrible and rude service. They change the schedule last minute, making you wait for hours at the airport. Ruined our holiday. Apparently this is their normal operation - avoid them. read more

This company will take your money and then provide a car that cannot take everyone you have paid for! They will also not do what is in their terms and conditions if it harms them, but will resort to the terms even under fraudulent claims. I paid for a 7 person private transfer but they gave me a car that only fit 5 people. I also gave them warning of changes with more than 7 days, as per their terms, and they did not refund, failing to comply with their own terms. In the end the service was provided by Geneva Airport Transfers (GAT) So they took my money and outsourced to another company with a smaller car!!! read more

Extremely bad service and awful customer service. We have been trying to resolve an issue since August 2022 following a failed journey and horrendous customer service experience. We have submitted a complaint and have been following up on a weekly basis with the customer service team since then but we have not received any meaningful responses. Since October we are being completely ignored. Avoid using Alpybus at all costs. read more

Horrible service! They made me miss my flight. They changed the time of pickup without an email to one hour earlier! And they will not give a refund because they said they sent a text, however, I never received that text. When they sent me an email at 6:15 it was too late, 10 min late, in fact, the earlier bus pickup came to find me at 6:05 am - so I didn't find out they changed the bus time until after I missed the bus. Super lame and super bad service - Thanks Alpy bus - never again! I highly recommend going with other bus companies in the area cham express or OUI bus. read more

To be fair it was easy to book and coordinate the pick up and the driver showed up on time for an early pick up. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is that the bus/van chairs are very small with very little leg room (I'm only 5'8" so not very tall) and very uncomfortable. Yes it is 12 euros cheaper than Chamonix valley drop off or Cham Express but those are much more comfortable. read more

We flew into Geneva before a five day skiing trip at Trois Vallees, Meribel/Courchevel and made mistake of leaving ski boot bag in hotel. Ben and Sicily in particular were awesome. Even though this is a very busy and successful company, we were able to get through to a couple people and especially Ben, and then Sicily really stood out. Plus shuttle driver Bob. Ben and Sicily arranged for us to have my boot bag brought to the Alpy Bus Counter in the Geneva airport. They then arranged for Bob to bring the bag on the next morning shuttle to the nearest bus destination. I drove to Moutier to meet the shuttle van, and Voila, up drove Bob. Definitely a great company. Thanks, Marc read more
