Their expansive list of amenities includes: *Bathrooms/Hot Water Showers *Solar-heated Swimming Pool *Playgrounds/Arcade *Pond Fishing *Basketball/Volleyball/Softball/Horseshoes *Convenience Store on site w. ice *Laundromat/Propane Services *Dumping Station Located just 20 minutes away from Saratoga, this campground has been my home for the last two July 4th weekends while attending Phish runs at Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC). Limited availability exists for Phish Phan rates, starting out at $17 per night with additional fees depending on number of guests and site type requested. Reasonable by all means in my opinion. According to the website, it appears that sites with water/electric normally go for $30 a night with deals for weekly and monthly stays. What sets this campground apart from others is the staff and the atmosphere. Everyone greets you with a smile and is genuinely interested in maximizing your stay's enjoyment. An atmosphere of community and neighborliness is almost palpable. Regulars stroll by and inquire about the prior evening's concert. Staff role around on tractors kindly rescuing cars and campers from the mud when several days rain renders them lost. Special weekend activities such as Bingo, Parades, Contests, etc. promote activity between sites. There's nothing like sleeping in after a long concert on these quiet grounds, showering off the stickiness from a night of dancing, grilling up delicious meals, lounging amongst the sights and sounds of upstate NY, taking a dip in the pool to cool off, grabbing a frozen treat from the convenience store, and strolling the shaded paths of these grounds in anticipation of another night's concert and following campfire. Sitting on a swing in the early morning, car packed to the brim with what was left of our camping supplies, I felt reminded of the cherished summers I spent at day camps back home. I look forward to another stay on these grounds in future weekend trips to SPAC.

We paid less for 5 nights than you would pay for two nights at a cheap motel. Tina was very helpful and accommodating. If you want to be on your phone and computer all the time, stay home or go to a hotel. This place is for getting away and enjoying the beautiful trees, mountains, and lakes of the Adirondacks. You most likely will not get cell service there. If you need it, you can get wifi at the rec hall. It is close to Lake George and not far from I 87 to travel to points north like Lake Schroon and Lake Placid. We made some life-long friends during our week at Mt. Kenyon campground. But, this place says when you drive up that They have free wifi but it does not say that the signal ends 5feet from the front entrance. So this place basically had no wifi,the people who own it are very nice and helpful. But they told us as soon as we arrived there is no cell phone reception whatsoever throughout the campground. Yeah I wasn't too happy. The general store was over priced, 2.25 for a lighter I can get one for 1.75 at home. And the showers and bathrooms need a renovation or just a good cleaning. Also don't plan on washing dishes here they yell at you if you do. And They charge u 2$ for each bag to use their dumpster,,,,we laughed and drove to the mobile down the road and tossed it there. The pool looks nice from the outside, but we didn't go in it that much because it wasn't maintained.(For example, it wasn't skimmed and never vacuumed so there were dead and living bugs all over the bottom of the pool and the surface of the water, besides the frog in the pool enjoying the bugs no one used it the whole time we were there) Overall I wouldn't come here again, thought we'd give it a try but gonna stick to going to Lake George Escape Campgrounds from now on.

I was meeting an old friend in the area and all I knew was that it seemed affordable, rustic, and a down-to-earth type of place. Just what I was looking for... a little getaway for some R&R on the lake! Pretty tired from the trip and as I started bringing in luggage I realize that the place was much larger than I had anticipated . ( I had spruce cottage 2 bd 2 bath& 2 screened in porches) It was very, very clean. And as I was starting to put some of my things away, I realize that all the bedding was new ... new towels. new ... cozy throw blankets all looked new. I always appreciate that kind of touch because once again I'm up here to relax so having a comfy bed with new linens, comfy throw blankets and comfy towels is a plus The lake is beautiful & there are kayaks and other water toys available at no extra charge. That's a plus . A lot of places will charge extra for those type of things but not here. There's also fishing poles if you're so inclined. My favorite was probably the deck that's right on the lake. The morning light is beautiful and in the morning the lake looks like glass. It's so serene . There's a grill that you can use so a couple times we had barbecues. There's also a fire pit. Amy is the woman who manages Glenmoore . She's a class act! She's so incredibly helpful & friendly! Anything I needed was tended to immediately with a smile on her face! She makes the place feel like home! I think Glenmoore has been around for possibly 100 years!! Wow ! I was in the main lodge & I was poking around looking at games etc and found brochures from a long time ago. It was so interesting to see this place that is so rich in history. Last but not least in the main lodge in the morning, Amy had made homemade banana bread. It was perfect with my morning coffee. After writing this wonderful review, I'm afraid that the next time I plan to go up there won't be any cabins available ! This is a win-win

Alicia and Kerrie have created a place that is based on extreme hospitality and such individually crafted care for each guest. We were able to cook a few meals in complete kitchens in our cabin, alongside Kerries famous bagels he served throughout our weeks stay. Fresh fruit and coffee were also provided every morning and coffee both hot and iced was available all day long. Lakeside we sat, swam, fished, boated and just relaxed. There's so many reason to support this wonderful couple and their business, but hospitality, would be the biggest reason I will site! We will be back and hope you will consider this amazing resort!! Only 15 mins from Lake George! You will not regret it!

When we arrived Mohamed greeted us and provided us with the guestbook and helped us get into our room. We stood in the two bedroom cottage that sleeps four. The room was clean and complete with the basic amenities one would need. The kitchen is fully stocked with stove,fridge,coffee maker and microwave. Pots,pans,plates and utensils are also available. The bathroom has a shower and was stocked with towels. Living room was fully furnished with Roku and WiFi. Both bedrooms and sheets,linens and pillows. The property was well kept,our first night we had dinner outside on the picnic of table over looking the lake,absolutely beautiful view! Whispering Pines is a great weekend getaway We will be returning
