They didn't like me seeing another provider so they dropped me at 34 weeks. Very disappointed as they should have told me this from the beginning. Very rude. They asked that I write them a letter that I decided to seek care elsewhere which I refused so they immediately deleted my patient account. The only person they allowed me to talk to was some woman named Deneen. No provider ever followed up with me. Go elsewhere! The response that Dr Moore left was that they had told me to go somewhere else which is NOT TRUE! I told them I'd like to see another OBGYN that offered TOLAC/VBAC so that I had the option to have either. See the other bad review about this office and dealing with Dr. Moore and his wife Deneen left 7 months ago. Funny thing is...I only saw Dr Moore once. The Doctor I was actually seeing was Dr Bryan Jewell and we had this discussion with him also. I wanted to leave my options open and apparently don't like that!!! Also, they asked I leave...and eventually dropped me!!! I did not leave! They refused to see me. I didn't to leave because as I stated before...I wanted to leave the option open and have my c section with them in case it was necessary. Funny how they tried asked me to write them a letter stating I wanted to discontinue seeing them when that wasn't the case at all actually!!! So now I know he's a liar as well See the attached picture for proof they were lying about me "choosing" to have leave the practice His response makes me ill. I know businesses don't like bad reviews but to lie and be a doctor is inexcusable in my opinion. And the statement my review isn't valid...lol. She seems to know when I need more explanation and when a quick answer is appropriate. She delivered my daughter and it was the smoothest, most enjoyable (all things considered) experience I could have asked for. Sure, I've waited a couple of times, but nothing really excessive. I'm the first person to switch practices when the wait times get to be crazy, but that hasn't been my experience here at all. I also tend to go for the early morning appointments to minimize waiting, because - let's be real here - babies don't usually schedule their births, so chances are you'll have to wait a time or two, and that chance increases as the day goes on. I met Dr. Anthony a few times while pregnant with my daughter and she seemed really nice. I didn't get a chance to get to know her, but her energy was calming and I liked that a lot. The location - across from Emory Johns Creek hospital - is convenient and it's easy to find parking. I'm not sure if they are affiliated with any other hospitals.

I am writing this review based on my comparable experience after switching to another provider around 36 weeks, so that expectant parents know what to expect. 1. Be prepared for wait times that can be seriously frustrating. Regardless of the day, time, or which doctor I saw, the wait was consistently over an hour, sometimes even pushing 2 hours for the entire visit. The actual time with the OB-GYN was barely 5 minutes. I understand obgyns are busy, but it's about time they improved their time management or focused more on their existing patients rather than taking on more new ones. I have been dreading their wait times, which often leads to missing work and uncomfortable hours in a chair, causing back pain, which is not fun in the third trimester. On top of this, nobody in this practice, including doctors, has acknowledged or been apologetic even once for their ridiculously long wait times. 2. Appointments with Dr. Anthony always seem rushed, like she's in a race to see all the patients. She sometimes comes across as rude/dismissive and doesn't really give enough time to address my concerns. The OB is usually in and out within 3-5 minutes. I saw Dr. Chua only once and do not have much experience to comment on my experience with her. 3. There is no online scheduling or a proper messaging system/nurse line here to reach for emergency. The lab and test results are all handled through a call, and there is no way to view the results unless you request a printout on the visit. It's a very old-school system, and most of the time, the front desk staff doesn't have a clue about how things work. I once asked if there was a nurse line or an after-hours support, and to my surprise, the front desk said there was nothing like that. Much later when I asked again, Dr. Chua confirmed there is an on-call number to reach the obgyn directly. In another instance, I called the front desk to reach the doctor's assistant when I was having a terrible sinus issue while 6 months pregnant, to get some pregnancy-safe medication recommendations, only to be cut down by the front desk in a rude way, mentioning "we don't treat sinus." 4. Brace yourself for a bit of a headache. They want the patients to prepay for the entire labor out-of-pocket costs around the 28-week mark. It's a real hassle, especially if you end up having to deal with refunds post-birth because your deductible is reached before delivery. While I understand this is a norm in some clinics, I expected they should talk about it in the first appointment. I didn't come across this with my previous pregnancy provider, so this got me surprised. Now that I have transferred, I am still waiting for the refund of the money they charged me for labor already. I am glad I switched from here for an overall positive and hassle-free experience with another provider while receiving good care. I would not recommend this place to any mothers who value time, customer service, and birth empowerment.

When I make an appointment, I'm on time…read more There can be times just like any other doctor's office there the wait is a tad bit longer than anyone would like, but the nurses and the nurse practitioner are always pleasant to deal with and speak to...  I started coming here when one doctor misdiagnosed me with something that I didn't have by mixing my test results with another patients and prescribing me a medication that i didn't need and when I took the medicine it made me so sick... so I then came here with the hopes of having better luck and they've treated me way better than any other ob-gyn. This office is a little bigger than the Dunwoody location but just as nice. I don't come here too often since the other location is closer to my home. The staff here is pretty friendly.. I started visiting the practice with my second pregnancy after switching from Kaiser over to another insurance provider. This practice shares on call shifts with another OBGYN practice, unfortunately I ended up with one of their doctors I was forced to have a c-section although I had no issues with my labor. It was very late at night and the doctor was clearly very tired, and wanting to sleep. I complained every day about extreme pain and asked to see her on multiple occasions, she showed up on day 5 post surgery and told me to take morphine - said it would have little to no effect on baby while breastfeeding. I chose not to take the risk. She never looked at my incision. The pain continued, I followed up with her in the office less than one week later because my pain was 10/10 and my incision was really bothering me. Again she dismissed the pain by saying it was normal and pushed morphine on me - I declined. They never checked my temperature, blood pressure, or urine during that visit. A few hours later my blood pressure and temperature spiked, concerned about my well being I left my baby and went to the ER. ER doc ran some imaging and said I had a severe infection that had spread across my lower and upper abdomen, this would've been visible to any doctor who had taken a look at my incision. As a parent and doctor, he said he would've never been okay with his own wife breastfeeding an infant while taking morphine. I received great treatment from him, and he actually called me on 3 different occasions to see how I was doing! My baby's pediatrician even called twice to make sure I was recovering okay. Guess how many times Dr. Durairaj followed up? ZERO. Don't Visit This Doctor

My appointment with her was very smooth, things were set up, organized, nurses were friendly and she sat down with me personally before the exam to ask questions, get more detailed information about me and also allow me to ask questions. During the exam there was no pain and she have me helpful tips. There is a lot more wonderful things that I noticed about Dr.Johnson and once you visit her office and listen to how she talks you will understand what I mean. Over all a great experience so far.

My appointment was scheduled for 9:00 AM, and I left home more than 40 minutes in advance. Due to unexpected traffic, I noticed around 8:45 AM that my GPS estimated my arrival at 9:18 AM. Wanting to be respectful of their time, I immediately called the office to notify them. No one answered, so I left a voicemail. A few minutes later, someone returned my call and informed me there was a 15-minute grace period. I explained that my arrival time showed 9:18 AM and asked if they could please notify the doctor, since I urgently needed this appointment. I have surgery scheduled in less than two weeks and was seeking a second opinion. I had already completed pre-op check-in and submitted all required paperwork, so I was fully prepared for the visit. Instead of showing any empathy or flexibility, the staff member repeatedly refused to notify the doctor and insisted I call back at 9:15 AM. When I called again, I was told that if I arrived after 9:15 AM, I would need to reschedule. This was incredibly frustrating, considering I was only projected to be only 3 minutes beyond the grace period. I still came, arriving at 9:18 AM, only to be turned away. The front desk attendant told me the nurse had specifically come to the front and instructed them not to let me back. What made this even worse was that the next available appointment was after my scheduled surgery, making the visit impossible to reschedule in time. Based on how dismissive and uncompassionate I was treated throughout the entire interaction, I believe I was treated this way because I am African American while Dr. Elliott and the staff are Caucasian. Whether intentional or not, the experience left me feeling discriminated against and devalued as a patient. Patients deserve fairness, professionalism, understanding, and care--not cold, rigid treatment that leaves them feeling singled out and unheard.
