She did exactly as I asked, and they are now ready for a night out in Glasgow. The shop it's self is quite large due to the number of different treatments and services provided. On entry there is the hair salon, which leads through to beauty treatment rooms. At first I thought the nail equipment looked a little worse for wear, but then Courtney explained that they are just ordering all new ones after trying out a prototype. We used the prototype and it was a lot more comfortable (less chance of catching my nails on the entrance) and a lot quicker than the older models. She explained that along with the Hair and nails, they offer: waxing, massages, eyelashes, tinting, make-up, hair extensions and spray tan. The whole process took about an hour, and this month they are offering 10% off. After discussing hairstyles, among many other things while doing my nails, she suggested a book a consultation with the hair stylist, which I will attend next week. The shop itself is bright, and well laid out, and is about to undergo some renovations. My main issue with this experience was parking. Free parking is available on the street and in the car park opposite, however spaces are very limited. Overall a lovely place with friendly, competent staff.

The staff are all very welcoming and you are greeted with a smile when you enter the salon. The decor is very nice, with harmonizing colours and unusual finishes, like glittery wallpaper (doesn't sound tasteful, but it is!) I booked an eyebrow wax, and the therapist took time to talk me through exactly what I wanted and advised me on my eyebrow shape. I was very impressed with her knowledge and customer care seems to be high on the agenda. The therapist made me feel at ease, talking through the treatment but not chewing my ear off! She took time to ensure that the treatment was carried out properly and I didn't feel it was being rushed at all. At the end of the treatment she showed me the end result and gave me advice on maintaining the shape. Staff are experienced and knowledgeable but also very down to earth and friendly. This is a really important thing in a salon as there is nothing worse tha being waxed by someone that you don't feel really comfortable around. We rang up on Sunday morning and managed to each get an appointment for around 3pm for massages…read more We arrived and were given questionnaires to complete with our details. There was a little confusion as I hadn't specifically wanted either the 3pm or 3:20pm slot, I just booked them both for myself and my friend, however despite it making more sense for my friend to go in the first slot, they wouldn't change our times around. The room for the massage was nice, standard massage room really. Although they do have electronic beds to adjust the height, which I gather for shorter people than me (5ft 10) this would come in useful, plus it is heated. Although I did ask half way through for the heat to be turned off as I felt like I was being cooked...but that's just me and heat! The massage itself was good, she did as I asked and didn't shy away from the painful parts (no pain no gain)! A complementary facial had been included which was basic but relaxing. I advised her of my sensitive skin so she used the sensitive lotions, which still stung slightly, but I've had worse! Arriving back at reception my masseuse, Natalie, had left a postcard advising me to get more massages to help with the problem areas, which was sweet, and giving me another excuse to get more :) Based on my experiences alone I would recommend them, however my friend who was with me didn't have such a good time. She didn't have a heated bed, which was a shame since she is the heat lover, and her masseuse didn't follow her instructions and performed a relaxing massage rather than one that tackled the knots. Overall, I'd probably go back if I was in the area or couldn't get into a more local one. It's handy as it is in Silverburn, up the stairs to the left of Yo-Sushi/Debenhams, if you are there for some shopping too, and the premises is very modern and stylish. Price wise, it was £32 for half an hour of massage, with the complementary facial. It's a little on the pricer side, I guess due to it's location.
