It's a very unique variety/gift shop in this very quaint Bavarian Alpine town of Mittenwald. It's a little off from the center of the town, but it's still at the edge of the pedestrian zone. The shopkeeper gentleman was very courteous, friendly, helpful, and most of all he spoke very good English (to our advantage) though he was being very modest about his language abilities. There were unique handcrafted wooden (Alpine Stone Pine) bread boxes and bowls. By the way handcrafted wooden products are very typical of this area. I was told that pine prevents bugs & mold. That would come in handy during warm weather since local breads and rolls don't have any preservatives in them. They also had some selections of very nice pottery, ceramics and metal yard ornaments on display. In fact that's what my wife purchased for a souvenir from our most recent trip to the Bavarian Alps.
