This is a wonderful Hotel for anyone who likes great hiking, skiing and the ambiance to go with it. The rooms of the Heimspitzel are lovely, the surroundings beautiful and the food and service are outstanding. We have been to Gargellen for skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer and we can't imagine a more perfect place for both. If you travel to Austria we highly recommend this peace of Heaven. read more

Our visit to Guesthouse Marmotta was a wonderful experience. We had lunch on the outdoor seating on…read morea nice warm late September Day. A look around the inside dining and lobby area shows it to be nicely decorated with little animals and very clean and nicely painted interior. The food was excellent, I had a soup and my cousin and his wife had sandwiches and all was very good. The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable and I would love to return during the ski season.
