This place is SO wonderful. Family owned, and they're really nice people. The view is completely staggering, and as the clouds move and the light changes it continues to amaze. The 'wellness center' is crazy...I'm not even sure what to do with some of the options but I was digging the whirlpool baths (a massage!), the hot/ cold blast shower, the sauna, and the pool, which also has some whirlpool areas. And there's more spa-toys to explore! The food is incredible. Everything was great but the soups were stellar. And finally, for all that, it's not fancy. Everyone is here in hiking clothes, and while elegant, it's family friendly. If you are in the Dolomites and have any time in a Dobbiaco I highly recommend. The ONLY drawback is that you can't get here by bus so if you don't have a car you'll have to pay for a taxi. read more
