My husband's isn't much better. Honestly, the Good Neighbors won't even insure me and if they do, it's $500 A MONTH for ONE CAR! I have 3! At AmFam, my rate is a third of that for all 3 of my cars. Robin's office has done a suburb job of keeping me in the loop with my policies and answering all of my questions. When I need a policy change done, they do it right away and I'm able to get new insurance cards immediately using AmFam.com. I seriously sound like a spokeswoman for AmFam right now and I'm totally cool with that because of how great they have been to me. I always work with Robin, the Agent, which is totally unheard of. She actually just emailed me about my renewal a couple minutes ago. Today is Friday and it's almost 5 o'clock and she is with her team working. The guy I work for played golf all day (he's not a bad guy...he just really likes golf and Friday's). The dedication she has to her clients and to her staff is astonishing and it reflects in her work. There is a lot of care and detail that goes into running and agency and if you're looking for a dedicated agent, here's your woman. After combing through my policy with Travelers, I found that my property square footage was listed at over 1,000 sq ft more than the actual square footage of my home with not one public property record supporting this erroneous number. While being overcharged for my premium with Travelers, I made several calls and sent multiple emails to InuranceU Colorado to correct this suspicious error, and I've yet to have any of them returned, although they immediately answered the phone and returned my messages when I was initially shopping for my policy. So, if you find yourself at the mercy of InsuranceU Colorado after a dizzying two-week closing as I did and then require service of any kind thereafter, I suggest you disguise yourself as a new customer if your goal is to actually speak with someone. But, if you forget and mistakenly identify yourself as an existing customer, then prepare to wait--indefinitely.
