SO RUDE! I took my daughter in to have a prom dress altered. The owner was chatting in the back with her friends and just yelled to us when we entered to Just try it on. Then she came to look at the dress and immediately said the dress was "cheap". It was NOT. I PAID A LOT OF MONEY for it! She said to return it and get a bigger size. It was a 00, and fit her almost perfectly! And she berated my 17 year old 5'5", 110 lb high school athlete daughter saying "no more cheeseburgers for you! No more lasagna!" "You need to eat a salad!"? I was mortified! We very quickly got our things together and said we would be leaving! The dress only needed the zipper shortened and it taken up under the arms. We needed no comments on my daughter's weight! Which she is extremely slim and fit anyway! I'll never return to this establishment! So unprofessional!! read more

Best alterations I've ever had but the poor own is so busy from her customers she can hardly take care of herself! She is so sweet, talented, and I brought her lunch once because she sis so selfless she will overwork herself and forget to eat! Truly AWESOME WOMAN and I can't recommend her enough. read more

I am embarrassed to say I don't know her name, but the friendly and professional seamstress who runs the shop is excellent. She re-sewed several buttons on a leather jacket that had been botched by someone else in another shop. They are now back on firmly - and it seems that they will last another 20 years before I need to have them re-attached. She also conditioned the leather as a courtesy which was a very pleasant surprise to me. read more

Had 2 ball gowns hemmed and taken in and they looked fantastic! Her attention to detail was outstanding. Her prices are worth it because you know she is doing a great job. Remember that you pay for the skill and talent and she has both. Hours are good but call ahead to let her know you are coming. read more

I had a great experience with Aloha Alterations when I recently needed minor alterations on a dress to wear to a wedding. When I dropped off the dress and tried it on, she listened to what I requested and explained what she thought would be the best way to make the modifications. She worked to get it ready for pick up a few hours early which was helpful. The end result worked really well for the wedding and was exactly as discussed. Would highly recommend. read more

Amazing work. I needed some work done on my uniform, and it was done quickly and perfectly. When I went to pick up my uniform, she had a young lady getting measured for a gown, so she quickly rushed to hand me my uniform and told me it was on the house and thanked me for my service.
