Short version: Stopped here when falling asleep on the way to Dallas. Long version: The last time I stopped here was after a very very long drive from Kansas City to Dallas when I was already half asleep. I was literally falling asleep on the road and it was very dangerous so I pulled in here and had a nap. What a lovely nap it was. I was a little freaked out because I was way too tired to be driving, but this nap sorted me right out. Nothing bad happened, and I got some gas afterwards which was nice. Then I went to pick up the Goddess from the Dallas bus station. She should not be riding the bus. I'm aware of this. But when it's the only way to get a porn star to you (she doesn't drive unless I drive her), you do it. Am I right. Anyway it's a good gas station and fuel was priced about average. It's a little remote and scary in the middle of the night though. Definitely 5 stars because I have good memories of it from several stops here now.

Mom and dad heard me make the order. I am brought a Tostada and an enchilada. I tell a waiter that i don't like tostadas and tell him I had ordered a chimichanga. A few minutes later, our waiter brings me a chimichanga and rudely informs me, "you did not tell me a chimichanga. You told me a Tostada." We inform the assumed manager of the situation and that we will not be back to this restaurant. The assumed manager's response was a simple "ok". I don't think I'm a high maintenance individual but why would I order something I already know I don't care for? There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in the area where we have been treated with respect. I'll just stick with THOSE restaurants. This may be the first time ever I have declined leaving a tip at a restaurant. My family will not be going back and unless you thrive on rude company, I don't recommend.

The only thing keeping it from being a 5 star rating is the pricing. It's a bit like the difference between Wal-Mart and Target. Wal-Mart has normal prices, Target jacks them up a few dollars per product for no real reason. Pruett's follows that. Gorgeous store, very friendly people but the artificial hikes in pricing are frustrating and keep it from being a true regular shopping experience.
