    Purchased homeowners insurance through them. All was fine but then I get a letter from my…read moreinsurance company informing me that my coverage will be dropped at the renewal date. I call Dimmitt and they say they can't offer coverage through this insuror any more but that they would send me some new quotes when it gets closer to renewal. I don't hear from Dimmitt and don't hear from Dimmitt so I send them an e-mail and they respond "yes someone will be contacting you shortly to give you some new quotes". Never heard from them. Insurance policy expires in 3 days. Several issues. Dimmitt should have contacted me FIRST when they knew that they were being dropped by this insurance company. Second, when I asked for new quotes and options they REFUSED to give them to me telling me to wait. I waited and then followed up and they pushed me off again. Do you want to have to hound your insurance broker to do their job? Why were they fired by an insurance company from being able to offer their products? Red flags all around

A month…read moreafter my policy should have gone into effect, I get a letter from the Dept. of Motor Vehicles stating that my "driving privilege" is going to be revoked at the end of the month, because I have "no insurance". I called Dimmitt, who obviously dropped the ball, and failed to file the right paperwork with the DMV, and they say, "No problem, you're covered". I asked why I got the letter, and they cannot explain, but are telling me that "I" have to take pictures of my insurance card, and all my paperwork, and send it in to the DMV...I have to do it, not Dimmitt, the one's who dropped the ball. 50 years of driving, never has this happened. Someone at Dimmitt has me considering other Insurance providers.

    I've used GEICO since arriving to FL in 2015, and we finally got round to adding my dear Queen Bee…read moreinto my auto policy. The reason for this is simple: she used a different insurer for over 30 years and they upped her premium by $600+/yr. No accidents, citations, nothing! Some good neighbor! So I visited GEICO office right round the corner from our home, barely a mile away. Let's just say these folks are a better neighbor for all that happened. We were greeted and served straightaway by Wanda R. who was a pleasant enough lady. She plugged in all my wife's info into their system, asked questions and explored options for discounts, etc. So after all that business going back and forth w. the computer and my own GEICO app...voila. The Queen Bee is now saving $900 a year for the same amount of coverage, or $75/mo. All this stuff adds up and since it never had been easy since the Rona, it only makes sense, friends! Office has its own cute little building on US 19 northbound service road just north of Belleair Rd. Inside is no real big deal one way or the other. It's an insurance office, so don't expect popcorn and balloons anyway. The associates all seem to have their own desks decorated and homey looking, so I'm sure that's a good clue as to how they run the place. All in all, I now believe I'm validated in my auto insurance choices since getting here to the Sunshine State several years back. Thankfully no claims thus far, and here's hoping it stays that way. Either way, these folks offered good, straightforward service in a timely manner. That's one thing I'd never expect from insurance brokers!

    The worst customer service I've ever experienced and it's not even close. Discovered there was…read morefraud through my credit card with geico, made geico aware of the fraud and they did absolutely nothing about it, didn't even stop the charges or investigate anything, I had to file a police report to get it corrected. Took on average 2 hours just to get through to a person each time I called and they were pretty much useless when I did get them on the phone. Garbage customer service 10/10 do not recommend using geico.
