Price and customer service is awesome!!! They saved me $$$ and upgraded my insurance.

All state doesn't know what policies cover when they're selling to you. They'll tell you you're covered then when you need to use your coverage they'll say "oh we didn't know we thought you were. This is a learning moment for us" also when giving a statement you'll say one thing they'll misconstrue it so they don't have to cover you. When you say that's not what I said and try to tell them what you were trying to say they'll say "it doesn't matter what you meant or what you were trying to say" all around horrible customer service and will find any reason to not accept a claim. I just changed over Brian Seth Allstate insurance after talking to Liz, one of their agents. It took about 5 different calls before I had enough time to get all the info I wanted and everything explained etc etc and Liz always took the time to answer anything I needed to know, never hurried the conversations or was pushy or anything. Poor customer service. I fired Allstate because of how Brian Seth handled my situation. He told me that the glass department of Allstate aka Safelite won't be reimbursing me, basically told me it's a lost cause and to give up. Truly an amazing team! Not only do they get you every discount you deserve and are illegible for, they also include you fully in the process. Insurance is something every person must have to own a car. Yes we pay a lot of money for a good policy . But Allstate have been great to me and my family!! My kids have their own policy with Allstate now. And hopefully they will continue with them for a long time just like their dad! The one thing I hate is new people in the office that don't understand my needs nor understand my question and why I'm asking. As a father and having a young daughter in college with her car. I wanted the best coverage and rental coverage I can get . This agency has provided that to me year after year. I wish their was a policy that reward customers with 20 years of good payment history paying over 400 per month to get some type of thank you or skip payment , our dinner gift card!! That's how you build your clients. Hopefully they will try in 2014 to reward clients for the hard earn money. Check out this review. My difficulties with Allstate should convince you to run and go with any other company for auto and homeowners coverage. Don't make a mistake and go with Allstate!!! I have been with this agency for 35 plus years. Since Brian has taken over his staff has become more and more noncommunicative and the prices have soared ridiculously. They made many MANY mistakes with my billing and the discourteous service I received for inquiring as to the reasons in inexcusable. I'm embarrassed for this agency. At one point they billed my ex-husband years after the divorce, without notice and shockingly they were upset with me over it when I brought it to there attention. It was astonishing and difficult to understand. How could that kind of mistake be made by a professional firm. Then they billed a closed account and didn't inform me when the insurance didn't go through and I was almost canceled. I provided them the proper information months earlier. Last month my homeowners went up and I was not informed. The reason for the increase were due to fire department payment that had been made back in December. This increase was not necessary but they insisted I pay it until it's cleared up. I had NO notice what was required to prevent this increase and NO notice that it went up. I was told I had to pay this new amount. My concern is I will never get the funds back once this is resolved. This agency is messed up. Allstate is a company that uses confusion and frustration as a legal means to steal from people. My husband went with this agent after our marriage and quickly changed back to his original insurance carrier. He thought me crazy for staying with them. I was crazy!! Not only did my home owners go up without notification but while seeking to purchase a new automobile I called this agency requesting a price quote for the new vehicle. I was provided an amount that seemed reasonable. After the purchase, I called to implement the policy and the amount almost doubled what was quoted. Had I known I would not purchase that vehicle. Calling them to be proactive,to be an informed consumers was a waste of time. So is Allstate. I would never intentionally buy a vehicle that would double my monthly payment. Unbelievable!!! After my home was robbed it took nearly a year for Allstate to reimburse me for the lost items. I called the agent to ask for reimbursement and they distracted me by saying "we don't handle that....sorry you have to call claims. In the interim it took months to fulfill their part of our agreement. And this agency didn't step up once to assist me in recovering my losses. Isn't that why we all have insurance... So we will be covered in this kind of circumstance?? Isn't that why we pay ridiculous payments every month of every year our entire adult life??? My advice, Allstate is a poorly run company that lies to its customers causes so much confusion you can't understand what is happening and then uses deflection and bad customer service to prevent you from getting the kind of service they promise in all their aggressive television advertising. read more

I've been with Brian for 7 years now and can only say positive things. He never tries to over sell a package that I dont need while at the same time making sure I have the proper coverage in case the unfortunate happens. Two years ago my car was nearly totaled by a drunk driver. I never had to file a claim before but have to say thanks to Allstate it's incredibly simple and straight forward. They had a tow truck pick me up within the hour and a rental car setup close to the body shop where i was getting my estimate. I ended up getting the car worked on by my own body shop which Allstate did not question. Brian and his company offer a great service and I cant see the need to look else where. read more

THE WORST experience I have ever had with an insurance agent! I came to Brian to quote my home insurance because I felt like I was paying too much with my current company. He quoted my home at double what I was paying and suggested that if I didn't go with his more expensive policy then I shouldn't own a home. It started when I signed my house over to my disabled former Marine son to make him feel empowered. I have been with this John Leslie Allstate Agency for 30 puls years. Brian Seth sent a women inspector in a dress without notice to inspect my roof. She did not use a ladder but rather used a tripod to elevate her camera from the ground to take pictures. Brian said we needed a new roof. I just had the roof inspected by the City of Kent through their Home Repair Program. They said the roof was fine. I had Tedrick's Roofing come out. They said the roof was fine. Mr. Seth told me I had 1 Months to replace my roof or they would drop the Homeowner's policy. The roofer was booked 3 months out. I begged for more time and got 3 months. Weather delays caused me to be one week late. Brian had me text a picture of the almost finished roof for the underwriter.Then I had to produce a copy of the receipt. They just sent a new inspector out without notice to Inspect the new roof because the receipt did not say "paid"on it. I wasn't notified this one was coming. The City of Kent signed off on the finished roof. I asked why they needed a second inspection and Mr. Seth said he wasn't aware that King County even needed to sign off the permit for a new roof. I feel harassed. I am looking for a new agency. I highly recommend you do not do business with Brian Seth. read more
