I have been using PNC banks for over 20 years in different towns. Although I experienced…read morefrustration with their mortgage loan department, their regular checking and savings banking service employees I have found helpful and friendly. I am surprised at the employee turnover rate because tellers seems to come and go within a year or two it seems. The facility at Sarver is always clean and I'm never more than a couple of customers away from being served. I do wish they were more accommodating daily with longer hours than the closing at 4 pm many days when most workers jobs run til 5 pm. But banks are known for lack of customer convenience. The ATM machine is sheltered from weather but is not very security minded as customers are too close when operating the machine and when crowded, one can see the ATM operator's private info. Their savings rates are average at best and several other financial investment services and banks easily beat their CD rates and interest on accounts. Example: depositing over $4000 a month and daily balance above $2000, they give 2 cents a month in interest. Not worth the ink to record it. Their main quality is simple convenience as there is a severe shortage of banks available near Route 356 and Route 28.

The 3 day hold released the funds then they with out any notice or reason took the money back out a large sum. I went to the branch they said you can't deposit business checks into a personal account which historically has been inaccurate i have for years. Then they tell me that after they verify the check they will return my money so they call and do verify it. Then they refuse to give me my funds or my check back even though its been through the hold released once and verified by the issuer. How can they take your money without notice reason or anything? If they feel I don't have a right as a sole proprietor to deposit checks made to my business then they shouldn't have processed it i should have been notified which I was not

All they care about is charging fees and making your business suffer. I really wish someone would have told me how HORRIBLE this bank is if you're not Dick Scaife or Warren Buffett. They'll hold deposits back so they can charge you NSF fees on DEBIT CARD TRANSACTIONS!!!! When I called to work things out, the ignorant "woman" on the phone told me that I shold have money in my account before I charge things.. They lost 10 years of personal banking from us over raping our business and trying to clean us out. Shame on them!

Thank goodness she was finally able to get her money away from this bank as they are doing business in a very unethical and unprofessional way by causing stress anxiety and frustration to long time elderly clients. She kept threatening her in regards to her taxes and that really is none of her concern. It is one thing to inform and advise and another to badger and confuse and threaten
