There are many different programs ranging from ABSN, to ELMSN (FNP and CM), to RN to FNP, and RN to DNP program's; the list goes on but we never actually know how many programs are going on at once. The campus is located on the corner of El Camino in a business-like building. It is one floor and expanding to two floors. A positive of the Sacramento campus over the Oakland is that there is free parking here and that there is no competition between different professions to utilize what campus facilities we do have available. Which brings me into the topic of facilities available. There is NO health center if you have school insurance, there is NO gym, there is essentially NO student extracurricular community, and the financial aid office comes from Oakland to visit every so often. So, as you can see, there are many lacking factors to this campus. The faculty is often changing as well as the administrative staff. We don't find out about a lot of things like preceptorship, NCLEX approval, or clinical placements until last second .... but without that disorder, it wouldn't be a grad school, right? The students here (in all cohorts I've encountered) are amazing though. Everyone is super nice and mindful of one another (:. Plus rent in Sac is a lot cheaper than in the Bay. Feel free to contact me with any questions if y'all may have any! As lastly, just keep in mind to "Trust the program!" I would probably rate the school alone as a 3.5 stars

The auditorium seats about 150 so the venue is small enough that every seat is a good one. The CSUSac music department teaches many genres of music. Do you like jazz, they got you covered. Do you like symphonic music, yeah they got that, too. Chorale? Come listen to the golden voices. Parking lot is across the mini-road. From your parked car to the auditorium is about 30 steps. Coming here for music is a treat. It's also easy, no ridiculous crowds, no unruly patrons, no hassles. A corner of peace in a world full of tumult. Dress casually. Relax and enjoy.

Specifically, I was at the Student Union, not sure if it's called that anymore technically. No matter, I was pretty impressed. It's really nicely updated, doesn't feel like a dim and old place like it used to. There are lots of open spaces and nice lounging chairs and tables all over each floor especially second and third, and many meeting rooms and hang out areas. My kids enjoyed wandering around a bit and just getting introduced to what a college campus looks like. There are also many offices of different student services like I saw a student activities office, a women's center, a computer lab, etc. There is even a footwashing room for students with that need for religious reasons. All in all, I was quite pleasantly surprised by how nice the union looks now. It's been expanded and completely remodeled and updated all over. We will have to visit again.

I am on the Presidential Honors Society for SCC and was going to take a semester of BIOL430 at ARC…read more Reason for attending ARC was because a professor, Heather Fajardo, who I had my eyes on had great reviews from ratemyprofessor.com. 4.9 out of 5 rating, difficultly level 2.5, and 30-points extra credit provided throughout the semester. Two weeks before the fall semester started, I get an email from an Indian professor about BIOL430. I'm like in my Connor McGregor's voice, "Who tf is this??" I immediately log into eServices to find out who this guy is. There was a last-minute change on the professor I had picked ahead of time WITHOUT any notification(s) to myself or the students. So, I immediately go online and CANNOT find anything about this "new" professor. I searched online and there were no leads. First day of class, I go in as hopeful as any other student to find out what this professor is all about. The Dean for the Natomas Center walks in, introduced herself, welcomed us, and wished us a happy Fall Semester. That was great on her part!! After she left, our professor immediately jumps into the lecture. Did not give his name or an intro. One student asked the professor why he didn't go over the syllabus or tell us his name and the expectations of the class. His response, "You guys received an email before the class started." He received immediate backlash. The same student then asked the professor if this was his first time teaching. His reply, "Yes." A few students got up and left, one-by-one.... His lecture was all over the place and students sat frustrated, as there was a language barrier, and he wasn't clear on the anatomy parts when describing them. He flashed through each PowerPoint he created super-fast. Students were telling him to slow down. A few more students get up and leave... I did not speak nor say anything the whole class and was second guessing my decision. I sat there and gave this guy an opportunity to prove himself. I pride myself on the accomplishments I have made and how dedicated I am to connect with professors who care and will take the time to really put a lot of effort into me for me to get an A at the end of every semester. I felt as though, this professor, being that it was his first time teaching, would not be the professor for me. The way he started scared me, and other students, to let a semester go by to once again, join the process of searching for another professor for the Spring of 2025. And in case you're asking why I didn't just search another professor on eServices, it's because they're all filled. No professor was available. SHAME!!! Shame on the school for allowing professors to do this at the last minute. There should be a process before the semester starts, where professors need to apply for the next semester. They SHOULD NOT be able to drop the class after students do their research on the professor and have them locked in. When students start to enroll, professors cannot backout of a class. Now I have to go through a whole semester of waiting to find another great professor. Thanks ARC!!! You have failed. 1/3 of the class walked out and I'm pretty sure more dropped the class. The professor's name is in the screenshot. Do better!! I'm also posting this under the Natomas Center.

Is this school good enough? Yes it is. The real question is will you work hard enough?…read more I've kept a full time job, been a present husband and dad, no school on weekends and passed 1st & 2nd year classes in good standing. It takes a lot of dedication, focus and time (25-40 hours weekly). Admittedly I'm not the smartest person, far from it. I'm just well applied. If I can do it, so can you. NWCU has some truly great professors or 'law coaches' who put a lot of care and time into their students. If you put your all into studies, follow the supplied monthly timeline, you can pass. That is not to say you will pass, this is a real law school which means it is extremely challenging. I waited two years to write this review and have seen smart classmates not continue, some transfer and others pass without issue. Positives All online, 24/7 ability to access lectures Excellent first year roadmap to follow Whatever you put in you can get out All the tools to succeed are provided Negatives Takes effort to connect with classmates High stress, same as any law school Grading is earned My daily routine has been 5:30 am wakeup to read or write, lectures during commute in both directions, flashcards on lunch break and may a little time after work. Live lectures especially writing classed pushed me though. You have the ability to go above and beyond and listen to sum & substance lectures from prestigious professors from UC Berkley, Loyola Law School, NYU and even supreme court oral arguments. There is a helpful YouTube series by Macy Sue showcasing daily life as an online law student. Lastly, I'm grateful to NWCU Professors for putting the time and effort to help me, it's a pleasure studying law. If you're thinking of applying, do it!

DON'T WASTE YOUR EFFORT AND MONEY HERE! It is cheap for a reason... it lacks the administrative/human elements required for its students to succeed as they would otherwise at an ABA accredited law school. My first year I completed all required essays and class work however I became severely ill just before final exams. I was hospitalized for four months and came to weigh only 90 lbs. While in the hospital I asked the school if they would allow me to complete my final exams at a later date (perhaps 1-2 months later). They refused and essentially said "TOO BAD FOR YOU!" despite the fact that I was certainly willing to have several doctors vouch for me. I will re-do my 1st year of law school but at a real school where there are those that are truly fair and reasonable.

It helped me prepare for the next journey to Sac State and taught me a lot of what I needed to know. Can easily walk around this campus although it doesn't feel small. Across the street from the ever gorgeous Land Park on Freeport and 12th avenue. CLASSES/CURRICULUM: They have courses in graphic design and digital media, aeronautics, theater arts, traditional studio arts, fashion, photography, cosmetology, and of course the general eds. PRICE: $$$ The credits are about $46 per credit. However most students can attend free of charge with proper FAFSA and financial aid forms filled out before each semester. There are unavoidable fees like student representation and something else, but that isn't more than a hundred bucks that I've ever paid and I'm overshooting just to be sure I don't leave anyone astray. There hasn't been a parking fee since everything went online, but I do foresee it returning which is about $40 a semester and half that for motorcycles SWAG/AMENITIES: A lunch hall, student services, disability services, tutoring services, a design lab, a makerspace, auditorium, sports stadium, swimming pool, theater stage, student supply store, veterans resource Center, and much more. STAFF & EXPERIENCE: This place is like that show cheers where everybody knows your name. Staff and faculty truly care about their students. Class is usually max out at 28 in the design and art departments so you really get to know your instructor and classmates over 16 weeks. The level and quality of courses here rival any 4 year university. I completed the design and digital media associates degree program involved of 2019 and have taken two classes per semester since because there are just too many quality classes here to pass up on. The instruction level is the best I've ever received at the collegiate level. I even started tutoring in the design lab just because I wanted to soak up the knowledge and environment a little more and I do enjoy helping others in that way. I have complete freedom to choose the classes that suit my particular needs and every class I take just makes me want to take another class. I'd recommend this university to anyone, especially anyone looking to be in the graphic arts and traditional arts fields. Some of the classes here they don't even teach it for your universities and some of the knowledge you learn here is what they expect you to already know when you get to some of the universities like Sac State.
