The store was clean and tidy, but sadly didn't include a Pharmacy like other stores, if you want a Pharmacy you'll need to go to Boots which is near enough across the way. I did prefer Boots in terms of overall selection, but this isn't a bad alternative. 3*

The store is well laid out, and well sign posted, the offers in store are good, as they always have promotions on. The store stocks include, make up, toilettries, mother and baby needs, and mens toilettiries. The store has a small sandwich fridge and a drinks fridge, the sandwiches are fresh, but by mid morning there is not much choice. The till area is very small for the store only haveing 3 till points in the corner, so be prepared for the queues.

The chemists are very community based, and offer a valueable service to the local community. The chemist offers a collect your prescriptions from local doctors surgeries and delievery to your address. The store has a sales area, with medication, toilettires, electricals such as hairdryers, curling tongs and hair straightners. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable, and will assist where necessary.

A decent Boots store inside Shrewsbury town centre, the layout did seem a little strange (for some…read morereason they had temporary barriers across the store (in locations which surely can't be for COVID reasons such as between the checkouts and the fridge section). The product range was okay, there wasn't much in terms of the Bulldog Skincare range which I like, or Christmas giftsets, especially compared to other stores. Product labels don't seem to be updated as frequently here, some of the prices displayed appeared to be wrong despite being changed multiple weeks ago, surely listing a higher price to what they actually charge is bad business sense as it means people are less likely to pick up an item such as the Baylis and Harding hand-washes and take it to the till? The staff seemed friendly enough, the selection was good in most areas but as far as Boots go, it is a pretty average location, but not bad for a small town. 3*
