Some vendors have staff that can help you find something in particular while others didn't have anyone proving service. I came across numerous cast iron pans and a few pots and several with brand names I've never seen previously. Most seemed to be priced quite reasonably. One particular vendor had crates and crates of old albums from the 50's through the 80's and it brought me back to my teens going to our local music store and browsing through each record. I'll definitely be going back around Christmas to get several. The prices ranged from $2.00 - $5.00 for the albums with the average being $5.00. There is one central check out location by the exit and it seems to move quickly.

When the auction is over you pick up your items at 640 S Al Ridge Road. The address is in Oakboro but it feels like you are really in Red Cross. Regardless, the have specific hours to pick up your winnings. It got a bit hectic when a lot of people were there. After you pay for your items you give the worker your list of items to retrieve. By the time I left there were so many people I don't know how they managed who was next because everyone was standing idle throughout the barn. They really need a better way of transitioning from payment to pickup. Once we got back in the car we watched for a while because we quickly noticed that everytime someone left the barn (mostly men) they all had a big smile on their face. The auction was mostly sports memorabilia so you can imagine how happy they were. I thoroughly enjoy the experience and will continue to participate in their Auctions.

The lady answering the phone was as nice as could be (even after I called 3 times in one day to give her more info, like, be sure you send two guys because it will take that many to move this washer). The two guys showed up exactly on time and they called ahead to let me know they were on the way, just as the head office lady said they would. The two gents (one named Davis) went right to work and diagnosed the problem quickly. They were very professional and respectful of the house furnishings. All in all a great experience. And they are amazing to work with. Ronnie is a quality guitar repair guy. He's set up or re-set up three of my guitars, from a Fender Stratocaster to a Schecter to my most recent purchase (from RBC of course!) ESP. But that aside, the store is just the right size to find a little nook and try an instrument out. The staff knows just how to offer help without pressuring you. They want you to make the decision. So slide on by RBC in the Locust Town Center area some time if you are in the market for a new guitar (or other instrument because they can order it for you and probably get it faster than some online dealers can get it for you - or help you find a comparable instrument that would serve just as well as your 'dream' instrument). I haven't regretted buying an axe or having them work on my axes yet.
