All parties e-signed. We were told the buyer wanted us out ASAP and closing was set for Oct 10. On Oct 9 the closing title company called us and told us that the earnest money had not been collected and the buyer was no where to be found. We had not received one phone call or e-mail from our realtor that the sale had fallen through. We had hired a moving company and put a down payment on another house as the earnest money would've covered our loss if our sale fell through. We incurred several thousand dollars in penalties to cash in CDs to move forward and not lose our investment on the other house. This realty company, in our case, was incompetent and caused us a lot of stress and financial loss. If there was a grade less than zero, I give it to them.
