T or C is a small town, so many people know each other here. I came in here to visit with Serif as my girlfriend knows her. Serif is able to do alterations as you need. Prior to her opening her place in T or C, she owned a similar kind of store in San Diego. Do check with Serif about shop hours as this is a small town and people here open/close their businesses as they see fit. In addition, Serif is originally from Troy, Turkey and she has many Turkish items in the store for sale. She carried many blue evil eye trinkets like key chains, bracelets/necklaces and wall hangings. The blue evil eye is to ward off bad luck. Serif was also carrying some fashionable boots with intricate fabric design from Turkey and I fell in love with a pair immediately. Unfortunately, the price tag of $250 was a bit out of my piggy bank range. Do stop in here to say hello to Serif and while you're at it bring in your clothes that need some work and stay around to shop some unique pieces from Turkey. These items were not flagged with one of those "couldn't get a stain out" tags that I have seen occasionally in the past. I recently picked up 2 shirts and was charged $12-$13! I am actively seeking a new dry cleaner, but pickings are very slim in this town!

So this past weekend we went through all my dads stuff and we had a huge estate sale. My father…read morewas really into photography and I came across this photo he took back in the late 80's. It wasn't in a frame and had a plastic sleeve protector on it. Since I was by his side when he took the picture, I decided to keep the photo. I took it down to ENCLAVE frame shop in Silver City and had her frame the photo. She ordered the material and in less than a week she had it done! She also backed another old photo that we had. She did a great job and I highly recommend her! She is located on Hwy 180 in the Lois Lane Shopping center next to CHEAPO JOES. This photograph was taken between Glenwood and Alma while the Ram was asleep with his chin resting on a rock.
