Thank you! Communication was easy, though sometimes took a couple hours to respond. Move day went fairly smoothly, and we were happy with the care taken to blanket and wrap items. The only disheartening thing was they really hesitated about moving our TV stand because it has glass shelves and is fragile. They didn't say "no" but just kept saying it's fragile and what do we want to do about it, and we were so stressed from the move we just said to not worry about it and we'd figure it out... So we ended up having to donate our TV stand because we had no way to move it. We'd still use them again and recommend them. Maybe just with fragile items have a game plan beforehand.

I highly recommend D&L Movers to anyone seeking moving service…read more Among around 10 moving companies I used in bay area, D&L is absolutely the best one. From booking, quote, to the moving job, to finishing up, they are super professional, efficient, and honest. The guys worked tirelessly for 10 hours and they didn't show a bit of slowdown. Everything was handled with care. We didn't even take items out of drawers. They moved the heavy furnitures, including a piano, with ease. Also I recommend their packing service. I had a few cabinets of glasses, cups, and dishes that I didn't have time to pack before they arrived. I estimated the packing would take me at least 4 hours. But one guy in D&L finished packing in less than an hour! It's super fast and cost-efficient. I should have hired them to pack more stuff. When calculating the final cost, they carefully deducted the lunch time. Two folks joined in the middle, and they calculated the labor cost by person-hour honestly. My overall experience with D&L has been pleasant. Every dollar spent was worthy. My only regret is that I didn't know them and used them earlier!

When I was getting ready to move, I was unaware of what the whole moving process entails. When I spoke to one of the owners (Drew) over the phone, he walked me through each step and ACCURATELY quoted me for my move (thank you for having accurate pricing), and calmly answered all my questions (I had a lot). He also gave me tips and tricks that would help make my move as streamline as possible. When the guys arrived they introduced themselves and were ready to rock and roll! What took me days to get ready, they moved in just a few hours! They wrapped and packed everything for safe transport shortly after. Once we arrived at my new location, they unloaded everything very efficiently. They did not leave until very piece of furniture and box was in the place I wanted it to be in. Thank you D&L for making what I thought was a stressful process into a streamline and swift day! Leo and Fabian were absolute rockstars and VERY respectful and hardworking. Thank you again I will ALWAYS use D&L for all my moving needs.

Michelle worked closely with me to create a moving schedule that fit my needs, including packing my entire home and coordinating delivery to my new home. She was incredibly thorough when preparing the estimate, carefully calculating the packing supplies, number of movers, and overall logistics. She even had Bill come out to assess my new home and determined that because of my narrow mountain driveway, they would need to use two smaller trucks instead of one large truck. That level of planning made all the difference. The moving crews arrived on time and immediately got to work. They were organized, professional, and asked thoughtful questions whenever needed to ensure everything went smoothly. In addition to moving my household, they disassembled seven industrial storage racks in my garage and reassembled some in my new garage and others in the space above the garage. Every container was clearly labeled so the correct items went upstairs or into the garage, making unpacking much easier. I especially appreciated how accommodating the movers were with furniture placement. They were patient and willing to adjust pieces until everything was lined up exactly where I wanted it. Their attention to detail was outstanding. Both crews--the packing team and the delivery team--were professional, respectful, hardworking, and genuinely friendly. Moving can be incredibly stressful, but they made the entire process far more enjoyable than I ever expected. Michelle stayed in touch throughout the entire process--from our initial planning conversation to confirming every detail before the move and following up afterward to ensure everything went well. Her communication and customer service were outstanding. The entire experience was seamless, and I highly recommend Lambert & Son to anyone looking for a moving company that truly goes above and beyond.
