Moving into the Belle Haven neighborhood felt magical from the start, largely because of the warm and welcoming community at AllFive. Our family's journey with the school began when our oldest daughter enrolled as a painfully shy toddler who was hesitant to speak. But in no time, she blossomed into a confident, playful, and free-spirited child who easily makes friends and connections wherever she goes. The strong foundation she built at AllFive helped her thrive in her first year of elementary school, especially in the areas of social and emotional learning. Now, our youngest is a proud AllFive student who has been through all the school's programs, starting at KHIT. Currently in preschool, she wakes up excited for school each day and she loves to show off her classroom to anyone willing to listen. Her joy and sense of belonging speaks volumes about the nurturing environment created by the AllFive team. Throughout our journey at AllFive, the faculty and staff have consistently fostered a strong sense of community. I am an active member of the Parent Teacher Council and I am entering my second year of engagement with the school. Staff and faculty host monthly events after school and on weekends, encourage parent participation, and stay actively engaged with families during drop-off and pick-up times. Teachers maintain open lines of communication, providing daily classroom and individual updates about the children's activities and growth. No matter when you pass by the school, you'll likely see staff or faculty warmly interacting with parents. Even the school board is deeply involved, playing an active role in supporting family engagement and school life. Thanks to the thoughtful curriculum and dedicated faculty, both of our children have developed a deep sense of confidence, curiosity, connection. Most importantly, we have all built lasting friendships. Although the school has undergone some changes in recent years, its mission and heart have remained constant. We truly love AllFive and are deeply grateful that it is our family's first school. read more

Our family joined All Five when my son was just under 3 years old as part of their preschool program. Since then, he has "stepped up" and my two younger children are now part of their infant/toddler program. I have experienced all three programs and can say I love each and every one of them. They all have a different vibe, each fitting for the age group they serve but they all consistently have staff who cares and loves all the children. Because of the mixed age groups in the preschool class, I got to see my son first be taken under the wing of older, more experienced children then in turn become that mentor himself as he became one of the older children. The overall program is an open-play, emergent curriculum that really does foster independence and self sufficiency but most importantly, social-emotional development and growth. They focus on emotional resiliency and regulation. You can see the push as they age out of the toddler program to the preschool program and all the teachers are so collaborative if you have certain skill sets that you are trying to work with your child on. Both of my children attended for 3 years each (5 years total), and it's an amazing school with leadership, teachers, and other parents who deeply care about early childhood education. My children are now in elementary school in Redwood City, and were absolutely set up for success on their educational path by their time at All Five. In addition to establishing an incredible academic foundation, All Five also created a fantastic community of other families that are strongly invested in their children's education, and we're still friends with many of them even though our children no longer are in the same schools/activities. read more

My daughter started at ALL Five in their toddler program. As a first time mom I wasn't sure what to expect but was blown away at the exceptional quality of the toddler program. The teachers are dedicated, conscientious, and knowledgeable. You see a level of camaraderie amongst the teachers that can presumably only be obtained through joy for what they do and job satisfaction. This camaraderie flows down to the students in the dynamics and relationships they build with each other. When my daughter moved up to the preschool program, the style and frequency of communication changed. I expressed my concerns to the education director, and we worked together to find solutions. Since then, there's been a noticeable effort by the preschool teachers to communicate in a frequency and way I was more used to seeing in the toddler program. All Five has multiple resources and partnerships with other organizations that in my experience are readily available to the parents/students. There is a speech therapist who comes onsite and supports the children weekly. I had some concerns about my child's behavior at one point and although there is no occupational therapist, the speech therapist met with me and provided ideas and resources to help me get the information I was seeking from outside sources. Additionally, I was directed to their partnership with children's health council to help support myself and my daughter and our dynamic. I received education on how to better communicate and react to my daughter in emotionally charged situations. I also received 10 free sessions where a therapist would observe my child and myself playing together and would coach me in real time through headphones, using the tools taught to me prior to the sessions. Those sessions were followed by 10 feedback sessions where the therapist communicated what she saw. This resource was invaluable to my daughter and me and was offered to me not by request, but after one of All Five's administrators saw me struggle to get my daughter in her car seat. On that note, through my time at All Five multiple teachers have approached to support and lend help when I've been on campus and they've noticed myself struggling when my daughter has been dysregulated. On a general note, I haven't met a teacher in either program who hasn't cared or greeted us positively, with warmth and compassion. All Five offers multiple opportunities to connect with the school community and staff through monthly gatherings and other internal and external community events. I'm so grateful for our time at All Five and what both my daughter and I have learned through our experience. I would highly recommend both programs. read more

As a continuing parent at ALL FIVE for over three years, I find it disappointing to see so many negative reviews appearing around the same time. It almost feels coordinated, which doesn't reflect the experience many of us have had here. Every child's school experience is shaped by partnership between teachers and parents. While parent advocates can offer valuable support, we have to remember that it's the teachers who are with our children for over six hours a day. It's our shared responsibility to really listen -- both to the concerns of teachers and the voices of parents -- and work together as a team. It's also important for us as parents to do our own research before enrolling our children. No center is perfect, but when we know our child -- whether they thrive best in structure, play, or a mix of both -- we can find the right fit for them. ALL FIVE offers a wide range of supportive resources, including play-based therapy, speech therapy through the school district, vision and dental screenings, and more. These services have been incredibly helpful for many families. This is a diverse and caring community, and I've personally seen how much support families receive here. Let's also remember that many of these children have already experienced more than some of us can imagine. They deserve a space where adults lead with compassion and unity. If you're considering this center, I encourage you to speak directly with current families who continue to be part of the program and are happy with their experience. I couldn't disagree more with the negative reviews posted here. It makes me feel like my child attended a completely different school!!! We were beyond pleased with our son's education and social/emotional skill building when he was at All Five. The teachers were professional, attentive and highly communicative about my son's care and development. They had monthly meetings with parents (called "Family Cafe"), weekly newsletters and an "open door" policy so if I wanted to visit, volunteer or just observe at any time, I could do so (and I did!). Of course, sometimes my son got pushed by other kids or cried about something that happened to him at school, but this stuff is common amongst the preschool age group; young children are still learning how to live in a social world. The teachers always was empathetic and shared with me whenever he was involved in a conflict; they taught him how to stand up for himself by learning communication skills like "stop", "I don't like that", "I'm playing with that", etc. I felt the program was well-rounded and followed lesson plans, which it had to, since it is accredited by the NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children). My mother was a preschool teacher, and she explained to me how difficult it is to get this designation. Thank you, All Five, for the quality experience my son received! read more

My mom is in town and made the observation "I've never seen a three-year-old be so excited to get dressed and head off to school. What happens at that place? I'd like to see it." What happens at All Five? I've been able to be there during the school day (in addition to pickup and dropoff) and I'm always impressed by the way the staff simultaneously stick to a schedule and allow the school to move along with the children. The learning isn't parent-driven or teacher-driven or child-driven -- it's curiosity-driven learning. What I want most for my children, especially at a young age, is for them to understand that learning is fun. Learning is a life-long passion they will be integrating into their lives for the rest of their lives. I believe All Five is setting the foundation for that in really important ways. The facility is adorable, filled with wooden toys and diverse materials. The staff is pleasant and patient, always impressing me with their enthusiasm and commitment to being a partner with me in the important work of raising my child. On top of all of this, it's a business model committed to the idea that every child deserves a strong preschool education. My husband and I are passionate about this cause, and very pleased to be able to participate in a system that not only benefits our child, but many others as well. read more

I think that if your child wants to wake up in the mornings and get dressed herself because she is ready to go to school, it really says a lot about how great this school is. The teachers have been so wonderful, they are all so loving and my daughter talks about them a lot. We have been going to All five for almost a year now and I leave to work with a piece of mind that my daughter will be fine. I really don't know how to say what a true blessing "All Five" has been for me and my daughter. read more

My son just turned 3yrs old this summer. He was attending A summer session at Bing Nursery school. It was incredibly fun and great experience for his first intro to school. As my son faces some challenges I new even though it was a wonderful place for him with such caring loving dedicating staff I had to find him a full time pre school. Where he is encouraged to learn while having fun and continue his imagination development. I found that All Five was the perfect place for him bc there curriculum , mission was very similar to Bing. They have a good classroom set up very clean and also have the option to play outside if they wish to do so. He is attending there now and is very happy to arrive in the morning. I leave to work knowing his in such good hands. The teachers are very caring, patient, professional and just plain wonderful. We got really lucky to be a part of all five. I totally recommend this school. read more
