What should have been an easy and straightforward experience turned into a pretty big hassle…read more I hired Art and Tree for a relatively big landscaping project (extensive tree and hedge trimming, mulching flower beds, sprinkler adjustments, etc). I was told that it would be completed by a particular day, but it actually took nearly 2 weeks longer than promised, and we never received any real explanation as to why. Communication was poor throughout the entire experience. During the delay, I've was told 2 times that the job was done and given a request to send full payment, only to discover that the work had not been done as promised. I found this tactic to be particularly annoying and a waste of my time. Aside from the delay and asking for payment prematurely, the work quality was poor in general. The mulch they put down was insufficient in multiple areas and the trees were not pruned enough. They also caused a huge problem when during the tree trimming they broke a common fence in our backyard and also left tons of debris in my neighbors yard. My neighbor was not at all pleased with this sloppy work. When I brought up these issues to the company on two seperate occasions, they completely ignored what I said and did not respond. In the end, I had to pay someone else to clean up Art and Tree's leftover mess and also pay for the fence they broke and the costs were significant. Huge bummer. I am not at all happy with Art and Tree and I would definitely not recommend their business. There are far better and more reliable landscaping companies out there, so there's no need to deal with a business that doesn't appear to care.

Review Update: I had these guys come out again to do a…read morepretty big job of clearing all the dead wood out of two huge oak trees that have been largely neglected by my HOA. They came on short notice and got right to work, removing like 5 thousand small branches and really opened up the trees. They look absolutely gorgeous and I'm extremely happy and impressed with the end result. Attached are before and after pictures before they cleared the brush away. I had one tree near the street which had overhanging branches that needed trimming and one palm tree between property fences to be removed. I was satisfied with the estimate, we set up a day and time. There were several parts to the project - removing rhizomes, removing aggressive groundcover, assessing a huge cactus that cracked its pot, adding rocks and succulents, etc. Corey presented solutions and great ways to enhance the garden. When he talked about using cement edges, we'd never considered it but love the idea. So, after speaking with Corey, an experienced arborist, why didn't we go ahead? Because my husband and I realized that the plan would've required us to commit to weeding often. We designed the rock/succulent garden but after remembering how we have to weed in the rock area on our property, we put the project on hold. Yes, I'm keeping Dynasty Tree Service's info nearby to use when our tree needs pruning again.
