I rented the 12 foot inflatable screen and popcorn machine from A1 for a backyard "screen on the…read moregreen" 30 birthday party. I worked with Jamie in the office, a 50% deposit was taken to reserve the screen and the balance was paid the week of my rental. She was very helpful and answered my MANY questions. Dave came to set up the screen and equipment. I was given his direct phone number so that he and I could coordinate a more specific time inside the 2 hour delivery window I was given. This was very helpful with all the last minute things I had to do to get ready for the party. He made sure I was totally aware of how to use all the equipment. It came with a standard bluray player and projector, but some very high level speakers. Once the sun set and we sat down to watch the movie everyone got a huge kick out of it. The popcorn from the machine was fresh and tasty, the screen was clear, and the sound was better than a theater! It was an amazing party. Excellent customer service! I am removing 1 star for a technicality, the equipment cannot be used in the rain. Had it started to rain the day of my event I would have been totally out of luck (and out of the money). It would be great if they could figure out a way to waterproof the equipment.

This place feels like a proper 3rd space that this age tends to lack. I'm hesitant to give it 5 stars because there's so much that they could improve, example: their arcade is just claw machines and a Photo Booth. I'd love to see some classic games. But the staff is very friendly, but also rather young. But the owner seems amazing. A while ago there was this risky skater that was body checking people on the skate floor and the owner came over and dealt with it immediately. And the staff handled it rather professionally. I've never hosted a party with them before but I've just had a great time just hanging out

We have been coming to Hot Wheels for years and previously had great experiences. We've held…read morebirthday parties here and, despite living much closer to Sparkles, have chosen to drive farther to Hot Wheels. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was very different. Our son feels more comfortable skating with a Skate Mate and has always been allowed to use one throughout the rink on previous visits. This time, after completing about one lap, an employee told him he could only use it in the small middle section. When we questioned this, we were told this had always been the rule and had always been enforced, which does not match our previous experiences. We could not find this restriction disclosed on their website. In fact, if you look through the photos posted with their Google reviews, the photos we saw show children using Skate Mates on the full rink, exactly as our son had been allowed to do on previous visits. The employees were rude and unhelpful when we tried to address the situation. They were also very reluctant to provide the owner's name, initially providing only his first name, and would not provide any contact information other than directing us to the website. We emailed the owner via the website to request a refund but received no response. For parents considering a birthday party here, keep in mind that based on what we were told, any birthday child or guests who use a Skate Mate will only be able to use the small middle section rather than the full rink. Sparkles in Kennesaw allows children using skate helpers to use the main rink. I wish we had known about this restriction before paying, as we would have gone elsewhere.

You have to be extremely careful when renting a party bus -- I've heard horror stories where huge groups meet somewhere and the bus never shows. I always write reviews for the good ones so people know who you can trust. The driver, Stacy, called me 3 days before to confirm and showed up early the day of. He was such a nice guy and was very accommodating. Booking, putting down the deposit, and paying the final amount was a breeze thanks to Allyson. The bus is great - roomy and the inside is very cool. Plenty of space for your belongings and easy music setup/connection. Worth every penny to have a group together for a few hours to have some fun and not worry about driving.

Wait a minute! There are NO reviews for the Fur Bus!?!…read more I only came to their review page out of curiousity. I used them last year for our company annual trip to Lake Lanier and I'm just in the process of nailing down the details for the trip this year...and of course it involves the Fur Bus. Let me just tell you about the fabulous experience I had with them last year then. Booking was SUPER simple. They answered every single last one of my random questions and adhered to our timings/requirements perfectly. Since I live closer to the Lake than to our office downtown I drove straight to the Lake and one of my colleagues greeted the driver etc. Before the actual day of the trip I had the driver's (Ginger) number and we texted back and forth and her response's were quick. The Fur Bus driver will get to their required spot 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time...and Ginger did. When they all arrived at the Lake everyone told me about the fun trip they had on the way up. When our boat docked the Fur Bus was there. My "worse for wear" colleagues didn't phase Ginger one bit. It was a fabulous experience. Like I said, I'm just about to book again for this summer's Lake trip.
