We told him we knew the exact size and we're looking for an idea on cost. The employee stated he could not give us a price unless we had the artwork bc the art could be made of different materials. We tried to tell him it's photo paper and nothing special but he just seemed like no was his final answer. Months ago, I took a really nice 5 row diamond channel ring in Jewelry Authority to be sold. They offered me $415 but I declined it. So they gave me a piece of paper STAMPED with their business logo along with the price offered and told me it was good for 7 days. I waited a couple of weeks for gold to climb a little more in price and when I took the ring back to be sold - Zane (the guy that works there and makes offers) literally looked me in my face and offered me $360!! Even though gold had went up in price, he literally offered me LESS that what he previously offered. That's crazy!! On top of that, I questioned why he had offered me LESS and explained to him that they had offered me more the first time. He asked me if I had the piece of paper that they had initially gave me with the offer and when I showed it to him, he shrugged his shoulders and didn't say anything else. So why even ask me for it? That was my LAST time dealing with them and I would highly suggest that if you have a nice piece of estate jewelry, try to sell it elsewhere before taking it to Jewelry Authority.
